    So from past bad experiences of not getting the protection plan because I wanted to save a buck. I'm absolutely pleased with having purchased any protection plan from geek squad. You will definitely be happy when something stops working and you have the plan. Everything I purchase from best buy i always get there protection. I've had several $2000 TV's or appliances mess up or need repair. With the plan they have been fixed professionally at no cost to me or replaced. All technicians are professional and I'm very pleased with the overall service.

    I had an agent come to help with some dead pixels on my TV. He was polite and efficient, giving me all of the advice I need before ultimately replacing the product. Highly recommend for peace of mind!

    Doesn't matter what the issue is, Best Buy is always there to fix it or replace the item. I got this with my mom's Samsung TV and there was a dark cloud spot on the screen. Samsung refused to fix it it. They said it was "tolerable for them." I called Best Buy and emailed them the pictures. They told me to bring the TV in and they exchanged it.

    Defective screen, large central white halo

    There is a large central white halo in the middle of the TV screen. I only found out about this AFTER mounting it unfortunately (having adhered to all instructions and precautions very carefully). I am a healthcare worker and have to travel for work a lot so by the time I got back home, unpackaged it and set up the wall mount, it was on day 16th from delivery date (past the 15 day return policy. Very unfair). Extremely disappointed at Sony products. Do NOT buy.

    Geek squad service was quick and simple!! I was worried i was going to have to go through all these loop holes just to replace my tv that had lines going across the screen but they ended up giving me options such as a new but same model tv or a gift card for a new one.

    I love the Best Buy protection plan, which I've used for lower-cost items like hearing aids and smart watches. I hope it works and is just as excellent.

    I always purchase the protection plan. The Geek Squad has come to my rescue a couple of times over the years. Especially having a young one at home with his electronics. No telling when a spill or fall may happen, LOL. A necessary purchase. Thank you Geek Squad

    Great value if you can’t afford to replace the tv. I’ve never had to use geek squad. The policy goes into effect after one year of purchase. Sometimes dealing with Sony or lg isn’t the best experience. Depending on how big your tv is you might value the in home service.

    Really makes me feel better knowing I have geek squad service on my item. I don’t have to worry about calling the television manufacturer if something goes wrong. And I trust Best Buy Geek Squad to make things more simple than the tv warranty would.

    Recently I called to have a service done on my TV that I got from Best Buy. They were quick to respond to my request, but how my TV wasn't able to be fix they helped me find a replacement one.

    We needed a TV fast for New Years so we looked for Open bix desls at the store. The price was great. But I have been super pleased with the picture quality snd ease of use. Hooking up DirecTv was a breeze and I hooked up blue ray, Vcr, Atari 2600, nintendo64 and a multiple game player (Nes,sega,sense, all work great! I love the smart tv menu LG uses its very user friendly. And extras like channel plus, amszon hulu etc are great. it has the ability to wirelessly connect to your phone. Wireless network setup was a breeze. I would recommend this TV
