This album is much different than Sturgill's previous records. Not as much country. But that's alright with me!

I'm not one for country music usually but this CD blew me away! Excellent!

LOVED Sturgill Simpson's SNL performance so much that I went out & bought his latest release. I knew he was a country music artist, but those 2 songs had so much fire & passion. Unfortunately, only 3 songs on the CD are in that kickin' vein. It's a little too cosmic overall. Had I listened to the whole CD prior, I only would've bought the singles.
