I had to get this because it didn't come with the game

It does what it needs to do, but I had to buy this separately from the new 3DS XL. What gives Nintendo? Couldn't just make the 3DS box a little bigger and give us one? This is a requirement for playing on a 3DS eventually unless you already have a charger.

Way to expensive for what it does. Replacement for my son,

it should have come packed in with the new 3ds xl.

Nintendo 3DS has a proprietary "usb looking" plug that other cheap cables sort of work with but your better off buying the OEM charger if you don't want to run into charging problems and damage to your charging port. At least it is only $15.

For whatever reason, Nintendo assumed that anyone buying the "New" 3DS XL would have an older DS or 3DS and just use their old adapter. Sure, this adapter isn't expensive, but it really should have been included with their consoles.

Are you serious? Not including the POWER cord for a device? Nintendo.... This is wrong. It's usary. I recommend it because you can't play the device without it.

Not to write anything bad but the packaging did not let me know if it would work for an older DS we had. Better labeling please. I was not able to use it so I cannot really give you any honest feedback as to it working or not.

I have no complaints with Best Buy's service here since it works perfectly. I just hate that Nintendo refused to bundle this with their New Nintendo 3DS, forcing customers to buy this separately.

Bought this cord because the New Nintendo 3ds XL did NOT come with one... stinks... It seems Apple has started something whereabouts vendors have found a way to increase a little revenue a the sly.

I really dislike the fact the gaming system makes you buy the adapter separate. Nintendo DS does not work without it. All other electronics come with a power code. Expect more from Nintendo

Its a must if you own a 3ds, use to be free but now not. Why Nintendo? Its a pain to transfer saved games to another 3d's and still need to buy the charger.

I purchased this on a whim when I realized the new Galaxy version did not come with an adapter. It gets the job done and has a relatively long cable.

This adapter is what is necessary to charge your DS device. Just very disapointed that Nintendo does not include it with the 3DS.

I was annoyed to find out my son's new 3ds did not come with a charger. An hour after he opened it, it was dead. Had to buy this separately. It works.

I got this because I got a New 3DS and it does not come with a charger. The charger itself is fine but it can be found cheaper in other stores.

Bummer that the 3DS does not come with a charger for the internal battery. Something like this is absolutely required to recharge after playing.
