I was able to pick it up in less than an hour Anna he was happily gaming away.

Official Nintendo charger

Picked up a second one because I wanted one to stay at home and one to always be in my travel case.

Needed for new 3ds xl

I wish for the price Nintendo would have a USB cable separate from wall wart to make extra charging options. Like charging your 3DS from a pc. This is compact enough to lug around though.
