She wanted it for email and light work. We also wanted something for our young kids to use as they learn how to use computers without compromising our MacBook Pro. It is easy to use even for us Apple people. The screen is large and decent but would prefer a better resolution and brightness.

We didn't need a fancy computer for $800.00 laptop for her classes. I like this on because it is simple for a child and you are able to make it where they just can't look up anything on the internet. It has a faster load time then what I thought it would. Great buy for a great price.

The battery life is great and I was very pleased and shocked that it does last as long as it said. I would recommend this laptop, I bet you too will be pleasantly surprised with all you can do with this one. The price is great too!!!

Fast enough with enough space for student work. Internet web-based programs are fine. Going from Windows to Chrome interface is a bit weird but since it's for him and not me, fine. I tried helping him on the Chromebook and did not like the OS. Overall, good laptop

Great laptop for general use

She needed a simple but very good laptop for home use for school work. I love the screen size because she didn't have to strain her eyes with smaller screens. It was very simple for her use and she very computer smart for a 6th grader!!! The price was reasonable and didn't burn a hole in my pocket.

First Chromebook

This is fast, sturdy and even though the speakers are not the greatest, the placement is great! The touch pad feels a bit cheap but I use a mouse so I can deal with that. I am also happy Google has finally added play store apps.
