I bought this for a friend that is not too knowledgeable about computers. I suggested a chrome book and this one was well within her price range. Based on Chrome OS’ ease of use, she agreed to purchasing it. With a quick boot up and to find icons. This is perfect for occasional web browsing, checking emails and light tasks. Would recommend and buy again!

Works flawlessly. I am able to easily hook this unit up to my large computer monitor. I also married it to a wireless mouse and a large wireless keyboard for easy use. Very portable and a pleasure to use in the shop or kitchen. Recommended to me by a senior computer company cyber security specialist as a unit that is less likely to be hacked.

I appreciate how fast this computer boots up. I also appreciate the ease of using Chrome to access my work station remotely. We purchased it for work so that we could remote in to our workstations while on the road. Downside: I wish the keypad had been designed less like a Mac's and with a 10-key to the side. There's certainly room for it!

It's a device with a lot to learn and "get use to". The key board lacks many traditional keys and the number of shortcuts needed to use it proficiently are almost overwhelming. When "use to" works fine. Battery life and charge time, a plus. Power cord plug/receptacle seem flimsy. Time will tell if adequate.

I got this for Christmas 2018, so I've had it for about 14 months. We were at Best Buy and the sale price was so good, I bought 2 of them. I use it mostly for surf'n the internet, and reading my e-mails. It really comes in handy. I keep it plugged in so it's always charged. I have no complaints.

Laptop died - talked with Meghan in computers at store #1024 - she felt chromebook would do everything that old laptop did for me - love my new chromebook - syncs with older printer - like large screen - only negative is sometimes it is difficult to locate slide that advances down page. Thank you Best Buy!

When I discovered chrome all of my tech problems disappeared . I was able to set things up and connect to the net within 5 minutes of unpacking the device and has been the easiest system to use for the non technical and casual user. And google is always available for guidance so you have a back up just in case .
