Wore out my previous Chromebook with enjoyment and serious study with my grandkids for school tutoring. Now on to my 2nd Chromebook by Acer, again!!! Larger screen with some other nice "bells & whistles" which all are so delightful! 80-yr old grannie, hooked on Chrome!

I bought this chromebook used it for less than 50 hours total of time. After 26 days of having device, I tried to turn on device and the screen will not turn on. Device is running, blue light on left side shows it is on. Called Best Buy and they stated they can not assist after 15 days. Called Acer and they want me to send them back the device so they can repair a device that is not even 30 days old. So low and behold as of this writing I have owned the device for 40 days and my chromebook is in some warehouse in Texas "being repaired".

If you are looking for a high end Chromebok at an affordable price this is it. You get a ton of features in this price point and Acer does not disappoint. My children have school issued Chromebooks but those are 11.5” displays. They are good for school but when the kids get home they can’t wait to log on to his Chromebook. They get a touchscreen display that is brilliant to work on. It is 17.3” which is quite the increase over the ones they use daily at school. They can see so much more of their work on the larger display. And being touchscreen also is a bonus. The display will lay flat but is not a convertible, it does not fold all the way back. Not a deal breaker but I almost wonder what it would be like if this could flip completely around and fold-up like a tablet. If you have never made the jump to a Chromebook, now is the time. Chrome OS has come a long way and it is amazing to use. Feature packed and takes little memory of the device. Set up is a breeze, unbox, plug in, power on, connect to your local WIFI, sign in with your Google Account and you are up and running. Which chrome/Google accounts you can SYNC your profile, bookmarks, files across all devices when you log in. Love this. I appreciate that you also are getting a side keypad for number entry as well. Given this is a larger Chromebook it is surprisingly light. This could easily be something you carry back and forth to work or to school. The 8 GB of RAM is fantastic. As a long time Chrome user I realize the more tabs I have open the slower the device will run. This allows me to have multiple tabs open and keep working and lightning speeds. If you are looking for a new or replacement laptop you definitely need to consider this one.

Generally, I like the machine and it has worked well. The wifi connection drops more often that it should, And reconnecting hasn't been smooth at all. I have had to shutdown/restart each time to get a solid connection.

Maybe I got a fluke. Maybe it's a simple fix. When it worked, it worked great but then out of the blue, it died after 14 months. Won't charge, won't power on. Taking it into the store today to troubleshoot. My previous Chromebook lasted 4 years.

no problems only use it for emails and occasional shopping and all is fine

I like this laptop. Only thing I wish it came with is a manual for windows 11 OS. The interface is a little strange for a person who is used to older os ( windows 3.1 - windows Vista).

This is my first Chromebook. It has everything I wanted in a laptop and more. The touch display is an added bonus as well as the full size keyboard. It's awesome.

The computer is difficult to learn as there is no manual included? You either have to learn as to go or look to YouTube for help. Also I was supposed to get 3 month free trial with YouTube plus and I believe Paramount Plus? But I didn't get any information on how to get them? I tried getting some help from customer service but they were not interested in helping me, so I just got feed up with the two ladies there and went home. I wouldn't recommend Springfield Bestbuy to anyone.

It works amazingly for remote access, which is the reason why I purchase it. Opening multiple tabs makes it slower immediately, but I don't care as I am using remote PC anyway.

This is my 3rd chromebook but my first Acer. I upgraded for a larger screen and my favorite part is the backlit keyboard ! So far so good ! If you're looking for something with a large screen that's very fast and simple to use...look no further. I use it primarily for investment research , browsing the internet and basic usage. For my needs it has met and exceeded expectations.

I liked it but i returned it because it did not have an HDMI port.

Replaced my old Acer. Backlighting is very useful and screen resolution great! Not sure if it runs any faster than 4GB version.

Very good computer, however i found another with 365 and word for the same price.
