Bad hinges
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If this hinge design hasnt changed from previous models i would pass. My hinge pulled out 3 months after warranty was up. To replace it costs more thean the chromebook!

Lack of support from Acer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 714 in May and the product worked as advertised. I did not know the microphone was not functioning properly until August when I made a Google Meet call. I tried to contact ACER support via email. Nothing but crickets in response. I have had positive experiences with HP, ASUS, and Samsung, but not ACER. I would recommend those manufacturers over my experience with ACER.

No longer charging after only 1 year.. Sad.
