I did a ton of research on gaming laptops in my price range before landing on this one, as it consistantly got good reviews and high ratings. My son used it daily to play with friends, until June, 2020, when the hard drive failed. Ok, this laptop is 6 months old, but let's replace the hard drive. Problem solved until August when the battery completely died. Just ordered a replacement that my son will now have to wait for to be able to play with his friends again. During this pandemic, his online gaming with friends has been my son's lifeline, and now he is forced to wait because his 8 month old laptop is completely dysfunctional.

But something that was missed by all of the Reviewers including the so called Tech Experts..... In the Bios it's Factory set for RST Optane of which there is None instead of AHCI. Oh and it gets much more fun when you change it after a bios update. The setting is gone unless you press Ctrl + S. Then set it to AHCI and watch Windows Blue screen and never work again even if you do a Factory reset. Great job MF's!!

Our family has not had a new laptop since 2006. I purchased a used laptop to get us by until we could not use it for functions. It does take getting used to since I am not used to using windows 10. This was our Christmas Gift as a family. I like the screen and how easy it is to use. My son loves how he can play games. I use it for more of work and data processing to and some gaming that are available.

Fairly upgradable. Though the one thing I would have to complain about that isn't mentioned in the description, is that the speakers are located on the underside of the keyboard muffling your sound unless otherwise on a flat surface. Taking away from the deluxe sound it may have.

Most games play decent on it but some games definitely need a stronger pc. Also camera has issues and trouble working sometimes , but it still boots up fast and lets me do other things fast.
