Let me start off by saying this has me still impressed and I haven't even added more RAM yet just 2TB for my games and my photography its a little loud when its in that boost to keep things smooth without over heating I really think if your unsure about what gaming laptop your kiddo needs this is perfffect

Great laptop with a very cool keyboard. Bought for my son for Christmas.

DAY 1: I bought the same model the day prior. Went back to best buy, because immediately after updates from windows; the system did a bsod. No recovery options, or even the drives themselves were remove from device. Day 2: Go to store for exchange with the hopes it was an isolated condition with the one laptop. However, the same occurred after windows update; BSOD. Identical HEX code as far as I can tell. But in this instance, I better prepared myself by creating removable recovery option. I was able to boot into Windows again. Full feature; no safe mode or anything like that. To trouble shoot the update causing the issue. I downloaded each update one at a time. This was largely not productive at all. While all downloads individually were accepted. I did a final restart, and issue is there again. Unable to get past BSOD, and my recovery options were wiped. No boot progress, regardless of the many things I tried. Using a windows virtual environment from my phone, and this enabled me to log to windows. However, even as administrator on the device, I was being denied access to simple folders, i.e. documents, pictures, and much more. I was still unable to access system. Restart, back to BSOD. At this point, I have spent countless hours of research, and enabled some things to behave normally within the windows environment. In conclusion; I will be taking this device back to BestBuy, and hopefully will find something in my price range. I don't blame BestBuy. Everyone was courteous and nice. But, beware purchasing this system for a while. There is something not meshing right within the system, and unable to determine exact causality, as HEX code presented. It provided a plethora of responses, and lots of solutions with the registry, but that is something I will not attempt.

Nice laptop. Easy set up. Keyboard is best part. Battery life is excellent.

Bought this for my granddaughter to use for schoolwork. She loves it.
