    Don't recommend, buy an actual PC not a laptop

    Had multiple issues with it, had to take it in multiple times to get the charger port replaced, recently the fan stopped working as well.

    After a couple months of using it, it starts to shut off on its own and i cant turn it on or even charge it what a waste of money

    Honestly, one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I purchased this beginning of 2021 and have taken it all over the country with me in my backpack. The only thing I’ve ever done to my PC (I only play World of Warcraft) is upgrade the RAM to 32GB, which was EXTREMELY easy and took me about 15 minutes at most. I run everything at ultra high aside from big raids etc. where I’ll be around 50-100 people. Like I said, best purchase I have probably wver made and has met all of my needs!

    After 3 months use! the Laptop is dead. Nothing works! I should have known better to never receive a NEW item wit the box damaged. I had figured that it turned on and was fine and low quantities of computers during the Pandemic. After 2 Months use its dead. Not even the charging lights go on! Poor design! My second laptop exactly like this model constantly has the lockdown Blue screen mode Critical process has stopped when it and after goes to sleep mode when it wakes up..

    Crashed with a boot loop cycle within a month of purchase. Can't reinstall windows and has essentially become a $900 paper weight. Acer customer service is horribly lacking in getting it fixed, and honestly wish I just spent the $100-$200 more on a better brand/pc.

    Do Not Buy!

    I bought this back on January 2021 and it’s already dead! Best Buy was no help and the Geek Squad even told me that they never sold this laptop! There is a problem with it never coming back on and the motherboard going bad. If you have the money to gamble then this is a great laptop till it’s not lol. Hope I can help someone else avoid the pain I’m going through.

    Unit performed beautifully unt; the speakers stopped functioning. Apparently this was product of a defect on the board. The laptop itself is constructed of cheap thi plastic. I imagine its overall durability would become a problem, as I can see this breaking easily. The only options provided by Best Buy and Acer was to send unit out for 5+weeks. As this is used for my work, I cannot be without for that period of time. Neither would arrange a simple swap.

    Worst Laptop I have ever owned!

    I have always been a Dell person but decided to give Acer a try. I am just now 1.5 months out of the short 1 year warranty & I need a new keyboard, touchpad, & screen. I have not abused the thing. I don't game on it. I surf the net each day. That's all. Worst laptop purchase I have ever made & I will never buy another Acer as long as I live.

    First windows update knocked out the speakers

    Purchased for use with online college in the field of engineering. Three days after purchase with a windows update the speakers no longer worked. The Geek Squad could not fix. Had to return the computer.

    This computer lasted exactly 2 years. I am so unhappy with this I’m basically sick. Piece of junk and Best Best does not stand behind products. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. Especially for my little nephew, whom I bought this for.

    not happy.. in less than a year had to bring to Geek Squad with key board issues.. told it may take a month or longer to repair.. bought for grand daughter who now has nothing to use for school until it is repaired... doesn't say much for Acer quality...

    Absolutely horrible product. Bought this 6 months ago and it will not even turn on anymore. When I looked online I see there are many people with the same problem. DO NOT BUY!!!

    When I got home and plugged this computer in it never came on. I let it charge for a while and still nothing. I returned this immediately. Don't waste your money. Get a desktop gamer.

    Bought this laptop thinking this brand has improved from the past. Within 2 days of use, the sound card went bad. I would not buy this brand again. I bought an Asus instead.

    Great bang for the buck

    Just upgraded from an 8 year old HP laptop with an outdated i7 with onboard graphics, no SSD, and a failing cooling fan/battery. So I decided it was time to upgrade. I was looking for a system with a newer i7 but the specs on this i5 were really impressive and I am glad I went with it. Upgraded the RAM to 32GB from the standard 8GB. I also added a 1TB Samsung SSD. All parts installed by myself and this laptop was still under $1000. Make sure you invest in a nice cooling pad and if you are a hardcore gamer you will want to paste the CPU and GPU with some higher quality paste. That being said this is an excellent platform that can be future proofed very easily. If I can get a solid 5 years out of this laptop when my previous HP lasted 8 I will be happy.
