Worth it!!

I was recommended this computer by a co-worker. We both work in the graphic design world and this processor can not only keep up but is perfect for being able to do everything without having to hook up to an external monitor.

I5 processor is pretty good overall and I didn’t really run into problems, but the 8GB of RAM started holding me back. More intensive classes require higher end devices, and this laptop wouldn’t run really intensive things like video editing programs without shutting off graphics cards or whatnot. You can upgrade ram though

My wife uses it to watch her Korean dramas. It gets a lot of use. About a month ago it suddenly died. Nothing. I only got a blue led light and that was it. Since it was out of warranty I took it apart. 3 of us inspected it and could not see anything wrong. I inspected it one last time with some high powered reading glasses and found a micro spot of dried milk on the motherboard. After cleaning it with alcohol and putting it back together it booted right up. It has worked perfectly ever since. After reading many of the negative reviews I have concluded that about 80% of the problems are cause by people eating while using their laptops. They immediately think the manufacturer is at fault. I thought the same thing. This is a great laptop. It is great for gaming and other applications. It is very fast as laptops go and the price is right. Best of all this laptop is reliable! We have six computers at our house. The new rule is, "No eating near the computers"!

I bought it mainly to play world of warcraft shadowlands. Right out of the box it was an easy set up that took no time at all. Started downloading WoW and jump in as soon as it hit playable. I logged in, in a major crowed city and the setting was already default at 7 and was still running between 45-60 fps. Smooth clear details with a few minor hiccups I believe from still downloading the game. I even set the settings to ultra and fps did not dip. Overall great bang for your buck as desktop comps are around 1200.
