Battery not charging after 6 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop on/around 5/20/20, and for six months or so, it worked like a dream. Ran all the games I wanted and seamlessly ran my work-from-home programs. It was great. But then I noticed that, even when plugged in, the battery wasn’t charging, it was only able to power on when plugged in. After looking at the forums for this particular model on Acer’s website, this is a relatively common problem. Thankfully it’s still within warranty, so I’m sending it to Acer for repair, but I had hoped I wouldn’t run into these problems so soon.

Good Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It used the intergrated out of the box so you have to install the drivers and update it to use the gpu. I bought this for a good budget laptop and it doesnt perform as expected. I tried running minecraft with the gpu and i cant even get over 100 fps when minecraft isnt that intense. I would like to know what happend and if i could get a refund at South Salt Lake Utah please.

Day two and already having big issues

It's fine when it's plugged in, and as soon as we unplug it the computer it goes to sleep and we have to log back in. This is with a completely full battery. Very inconvenient and we have tried so many different settings to resolve this. We expected a better product for the cost and this is just disappointing.

Gradually failing

Gradually over the next several months more keys stopped working until at present roughly half of the keys don't work. All drivers are up to date. Researched showed this is a common problem and that there is no fix. Annoyed, I bought a USB keyboard for it. That has worked for a month and a half. As of yesterday, 2 out of 3 USB ports are dead, the 3rd is intermittent.

Broke in the first 45 days

I use the keyboard strictly to log in to accounts, which means I’ve probably pushed the buttons a whole 50 times. After being on hold for almost an hour, on the phone with support for another hour, I get to ship it to Acer and have no computer for 3 weeks. I get to pay shipping also, lucky me.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard stopped working after 4 months. It was under warranty so Best Buy sent it to Acer to be fixed. Took 3 weeks to get it back. Worked fine for 3 months until the keyboard stopped working again. Most likely will not purchase another Acer product but Best Buy had great customer service and gave me store credit to purchase another laptop.
