    Expensive and installers don’t teach you how to adjust or reprogram; so if it breaks or needs to be reprogrammed you have to pay a second time.

    The technician installed a universal remote on a set up with a TV, DirecTV and a Yamaha receiver. It never worked out as promised and I called the remote company who made it all work together.

    The first guys that came couldn’t diagnose the internet. Didn’t have a lot of quality crews due to the shutdown, but they stuck with it and got it done.

    Good tech lousy service from store

    Let me start by saying the tech that came to my house did a great job and was professional. That said he should have never came to my house to begin with. The salesman in the store insisted that I needed someone from the Geek Squad to fix my dilemma. This is after I spoke with tech support for the product. Long and short of it is that within 5 minutes of being at my house Geek Squad could not get the product to do what I needed. It was a waste of time and money for me because I listened to the salesman at my local store. Be careful when listening to a so called expert at the store.

    The 3rd party company who came was great. But it took 6 scheduled appointments to get them here. Confirmed, then "no-show." I do not fault the tech person who came, who was terrific, but rather, the system that the Geek Squad is using to process and book their out-sourced "Total Tech Support."

    Having trouble with my sound system working after

    Could not install the remote originally recommended by your store personnel. Had to upgrade when the installation crew came in. Now my sound system is not working.

    Appeared initially he had trouble getting it to do what he intended for it to do. After he left it did work, but then went nuts for some reason. Intend on taking the "all great remote" back for a refund.

    Geek Squad came to update my remote system

    Al the agent knew was how to plug in his laptop and see programing and update. He knew nothing about how any of remote or my system worked with remote. He kept telling me i would have to schedule another appointment with soneone else became by his own admission he did not know how it worked. Was that 149 dollars worrh of value. I do not think so. I would recommend Geek Squad because this was the only bad experience. Install and all other experiences were great

    The agents programmed the remote but about a week later we were having trouble. You need to send out a tech again to fix this. Thx

    The universal remote wasn't properly connected to my television. The issue is that the receiver and direct tv aren't aligned with the universal remote.

    Prompt service but have had lots of problems with the remote. He tech returned twice for adjustments but it still isn’t working correctly. Disappointed!

    Initial contact and meeting with Geek Squad was favorable. Then terrible with Best Buy thereafter. The impact on service level due to Covid impact would be understandable - but doesn't excuse the poor treatment. Follow-up service call took over month - and then was cancelled and rescheduled (w/ no input from the customer) another month later. On that date, BB somehow scheduled THREE calls on same day - and noone showed and no call/notice from BB. I tried repeatedly to cancel the transaction, but BB call center usually was at least 20-30 min wait time each time. When did talk with a BB Rep, was only told that 'internal' review would get back to me (and then didn't). When tried to cancel through credit card company, BB did not try to interact with me - and would see NEW charges recorded (with no understanding on my part). Seemed like BB was content to have revenue from a charged service, and then didn't really give attention to actually providing the service. Never got any of the service or equipment (handheld remote) ordered initially through Geek Squad; ended up using Abt instead. The process for resolution through BB was very frustrating and not oriented towards customer. Will never use BB again.

    squad installed my TV ok but have totally failed to sinc with sound bar after many attempts. Although assured I just had to use two remotes that TV sound is off is now back on. On last trip (MANY) it was determined that I had to get an R remote which is very expensive in order to solve the ongoing dilemma of using two remotes and converting to one. Unsatisfactory since I would of never bought this Framed Samsung TV had I had this information prior to purchase.

      We like the convenience of using a single remote for your home theater system, as well, so if that’s what you’re looking for, the Remote Control Programing service may indeed be a great solution. While TV installation services may include set-up of a remote that comes with your TV, it should not include multi-device control commands or harmony remote integration which appears to be what you're looking for.     Tech needed to return. I scheduled 2nd appointment for 8/28. Tech was a no show for home repair. Text said he was on his way. No phone call to cancel. Your online tech support is horrible. Geek Squad service has deteriorated. I see no value here. I have had your service for sometime, but will not renew my service with you. Price is up too. Geek need to retire or new management is needed.

    Could have explained what was programmed better. I guess that it depends upon the person that you get to come do it. Last time, the person was exceptional, this time, not so much.

    Geek Jason did a nice job of re-programming the home entertainment system but it was not quite complete. After he left, the on/off feature for the TV does not work properly. Have spent 3 weeks trying to get him back. On first call, he told me he would set up a work order and come back. But have not heard from him since, and have called a couple of times. Still no date to complete the job. In the meantime, must use the "Help" button every time I want to watch TV. Should be a simple fix. Just need to get them to respond to my phone calls.

    Geek Squad trying to get my tv system working

    The Geek Squad has been here several times and I still don’t have my system working properly. One of the issues is that different people come rather than any continuity. I think we have a complicated system but they always leave with - it’s ok and fixed. It really isn’t all fixed- pieces of it are fixed. We are still not there and am waiting for an appointment to get this resolved.....,
