A Geek Squad Agent will program your new learning remote control (such as a Logitech Harmony or Savant remote) for easy operation of your TV and home theater components. Perform commands like Watch a DVD or Listen to Music with the push of a single button.* This service takes about a half hour to complete.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an add-on service. You must also order TV Connect or this part of your order will be canceled.

After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that contains a redemption code. You can then schedule your appointment by calling 1-800-GEEK SQUAD (1-800-433-5778) and following the prompts for Home Theater and Installation.** Please print your Geek Squad confirmation e-mail and be ready when the Agent arrives at your chosen location.

Q: I've purchased my own "netgear" Cable Modem to hook up. Time warner keeps raising their price of renting their modem; therefore, I've purchased my own "Netgear" modem and need it hooked up. In addition, I would like to switch out my older router.

A: Hi RedTail - the Geek Squad has a service called Home WiFi setup and support. It covers the setup of your new router and includes a year of ongoing support for your network. This can be purchased online or my going into your local Best Buy store.

Q: I need help to program my tv with one remote control and set up vcr box at home

A: The Geek Squad is available to help with this. You can purchase the in-home service online or talk to an Agent in store to schedule your appointment.

Q: Can a logitech Harmony universal remote be repaired? The buttons are sticking

Q: Our LG TV no longer has any sound - great picture but no sound. Switched it with a RCA TV that someone left behind. Get cable fine but cannot access Netflix. I need help in programming for Netflix and for future accessing of other streaming resources.

Q: I have 2 logitech remotes that were setup by Geek Squad in our home. After changing from TWC to WOW Cable, our remotes are not working properly. What would be the cost to have them reprogrammed? Your staff are trained and can it quickly!!!!

A: Our cost for remote programming was $49.99.

Q: The installer did not program the remote because he said, I only bought (along with my Harmony Ultimate remote) the $49.95 remote control programming. I was told the Harmony remotes require a $200+ fee for programming. What's the deal?

A: No extra fee to program out Logitech remote.

Q: I had a member of the geek squad come to my home to reset and reprogram my universal remote. The charge was $199.99. What is the warranty for this service? He said 30 days. Best Buy said 90 days. Which is it?

A: Home Theater Installation and HT repair services have a 90-day labor warranty. Computing installation and PC repair services have a 30-day labor warranty.
