    We are completely dissatisfied with the universal remote that the purchased from Best Buy. We have had three service visits to try to resolve issues and unfortunately they remain unresolved.

    I was sold a Marantz Blue Ray players with Netflix capability only to find out it had to be direct wired to the WIFI vice being able to pick up the signal in the house. This would of course cost extra. Had to have a Fire-stick that I was trying to get rid of plugged into the Blue ray player and now have to have an additional remote to work the blue ray and the Fire stick remote to operate Netflix. Wanted everything to work off the Harmony remote I'd bought previously. Was told to take the blue ray player back and get a different one by geek squad. Would have taken the both systems back but would lose my $249.00 in setup fees for all my systems. I blame myself for listening to the sales rep and purchasing what I though was going to be a great entertainment system.

    Surround sound not working properly. Stayed on hold 30 minutes with store multiple times. It’s a joke. Nobody ever picks up. Thinking about returning everything. On line useless. I spent thousands. This customer service is a joke.

    Remote Programming Incomplete

    I paid to have my Harmony 950 remote programmed and was pretty unsatisfied with the service. First the installer was not the most friendly guy in the world. More importantly he didn't do the job. Literally as soon as he left I had an issue. The sound bar would not turn on with the rest of the components, requiring a separate operation to individually turn on the Bose sound bar. I called him and was told to go to Harmony.com and it was self explanatory to add the sound bar! If I wanted to do that I wouldn't have paid $100 for him to do it....

    Installed my TIVO and then uninstalled my TIVO. He then put it back in it's box and left, He will not return my calls. Not very good service, He is representing Geek Squad and he is not aood agent!d

    I'm still waiting for this service I paid for to be completed. Please put me on the schedule as soon as possible. I have spent multiple hours trying to get your company to come and take care of the programming for the Harmony remote. The third party company ya'll are using is horrible, but Best Buy is a good company, I just wanted my remote programming. The scheduling by third party is not working!!! I've been put on hold & the call dropped numerous times. Please call aSAP TO SCHEDULE THIS SERVICE WITH A LIVE CALLER,NOT A AUTO CALL, Thank You

    I had to have 3 different technicians help. Appt. times are terrible and you have to wait at least a week. For appointments after 5pm a third party company is used & it’s terrible. They cancel appointments & are not professional.

    Geek Squad was great programming remote

    The remote and geek squad were great. When I called to order the remote, the agent in Texas wasn't very good. Took at least 45 minutes to order over the phone and then the order wasn't right. I had to call the store to correct it. Once I corrected it, everything went as planned.

    The GEEK people finally came after waiting 2 weeks, programmed the Harmony remote and left only to have the same problems the next day. I don't know if the Harmony remote is the problem or the programming, I'm now waiting for the third visit. Not exactly happy!

    Third party agents were used not Geek Squad employees. Not very professional or knowledgeable. Not a good experience. Recommend to have only Geek Squad pros.

    The installation went well. Poor instructions on how to use components. Very poor response in getting someone to return my calls to come out and correct the problems. I spent almost $5000 and I expected better from Geek Squad technical service!

    Geek Squad coming back tomorrow to reprogram universal remote. It works approximately 50% of the time. I have the Sony/TV remote out on the table because I can not know when the remote will work and when it will not.

      Hello nickname – I hope that we were able to get your universal remote working correctly with all of your devices. If not, I encourage you to look into returning or exchanging the remote under our Return & Exchange Promise if it was purchased recently. What you’re experiencing could be an issue with the remote itself just as easily as it could be a problem with the programming.

    Harmony remote still doesn't work

    Twice the Geek Squad has come out to program my Harmony Remote at a cost of more than $200.00 and the device still doesn't work properly when trying to use the Smart TV to view Netflix. Not sure if the problem is with the remote or with the teck folks.

    Even though service came twice the remote control programming is not working properly. I have to use a second device to get into the tv program. I am not happy with the result.

    Don't waste your money, it takes all of 5 minutes to do and it pretty much sets itself up! I had to set up an Amazon Alexa with it and I was nervous cause there wasn't any instructions but once I downloaded the apps the pretty much installed themselves! And when the "installers" do come all the do is activate your accounts they don't actually spend time showing you how to use it and they charge you separately for each device! The harmony ($50) and Alexa ($80) "set-up" fee was $130 And when I got home I figured them both out in less than 15 min and im no good at electronic or technology! Definitely not worth the money
