    The universal remote worked until we lost power for about a day. Now, we have one more useless remote...

    Geek Squad did a terrible job.

    The service was terrible. They did not set me up as I asked. On top of they we canceled the annual program and was sent a Best Buy gift card rather than refunding our credit card. This needs to be addressed. We are planning to reverse the credit card charge because we did not ask for a gift card but for a refund.

    Waste if a $100. All it does is turn the TV on and off. I have to use the remote that came with the TV to change channels, sound level, view guide, etc.

    Though I have no complaints re service person who I paid $100 for, the unit consistently does not operate properly. I have to go back and use my Xfinity remote. I fault the sales person for not giving me options and simply recommended the remote I bought

    They was unable or unwilling to do everything I needed. The ended up programming a remote for $100. I feel I paid the extra money for the service warranty, and got almost nothing in return for it. It was like pulling teeth to get them to my home in the first place. Sorry but i can't help but feel Geek Squad failed

    3rd time was a charm. A different technician came for the third appointment and did a great job. He had to reprogram much of what was previously done on the prior two visits by the Geek Squad technician. The unit was not updated with the latest software, the sound was not optimized for each device to PLII, the DVD had not on screen controls, pretty much all wrong. Mike did a great job correcting and explaining everything.

    Didn’t work right away with Netflix. One by one over a 2 week period other applications stopped working. Lost the sound bar next. I’m sure I’ll have to pay Geek Squad to come back out and fix it. Gave up in frustration. Back to 3 remotes. Not sure if was the product or the programming

    I have explained this in 2 other reviews. I have paid on total tech support for quite some time. The last 3 problems I have had the service has been terrible. You used to have good techs. Now it seems they either don't know how or for sure can't speak well enough to get the problems resolved.

    i could never get any kind of answer , even with THREE people working on the problem. finally after almost 30 minutes I requested a refund which was printed in TWO seconds after my request. They really showed absolutely no concern or interest in helping me

    The programming of our Harmony remote was not effective. We constantly have to hit the Help button and have to turn on and off devices individually. Defeats the whole purpose of having a single remote.

    I have problems with remote turning off the system. I depress the of button which does shut down the system. However a banner comes back on telling me I have a cable problem or a problem with the DVD player. The Geek squad saw this problem but could not fix it. .Also, they could not get the remote to correctly scan my 300 DVD Pioneer player. I have to manually select the DVD I want to play.

    The over all design is poor. Each devise to be added to the harmony was just .5" x .25".All 10 devises devise

    Did not keep, per Geek squad, outdated and would not work with remotes that we have. Appreciated the feedback ! The online help mislead us on this.
