I bought the Logitech Harmony Ultimate for my HT and added the Geek Squad remote programming service. For most users, I would recommend this service, as it allows a professional to do the initial set-up. Over the course of the next few weeks, as I learned more about my HT, I was able to customize the settings further. Advanced users will find it very easy to program this remote, but I would highly recommend this service for most users, as it gives you a chance to ask questions and, more importantly, ensures that everything is set-up correctly without anything missing

Best Buy no longer offers a Harmony remote. Instead they sold me light weight 8 device remote for under $40. You get what you pay for. The Geek Squad guy programmed it for me, but it in no way replaces the harmony remote. It is difficult to use, requiring multiple steps that are not be labeled for the functions we need. The Geek did his best, but the remote is not adequate for our needs. In fact, right now, Sonos is playing and I have no idea how to get back to tv audio.

The tech help was very efficient. They listen to my knees, and fixed all my issues that I was having with the universal remote control, receiver and TV error messages. Very satisfied with their services.

I purchased a Universal Remote Control from Best Buy and also purchased the installation set up at the time of purchase. The clerk was very confused on how to code the charge and did not use the Harmony Remote Control SKU for the service. This resulted in a charge of $199.99 for the service. The Geek Squad website shows that the charge should have been $149.99 for a Harmony (or similar remote) and no one will agree to refund the $50.00 overcharge. The installation ended up being satisfactory, but the overcharging for service is not acceptable.
