    I had bought a new Sony TV. It couldn’t be programmed correctly to my TV as it wasn’t one of the models that Harmony recognized. The person that programmed said since Harmony doesn’t update the models often since the remote has been discontinued it wasn’t compatible. I am now not using the Harmony so i spent $150 for a non useable remote.

    The tech that did my programming was really good, took time with me to explain the operation of the Harmony 900. His name was James and obviously was very knowledgeable. Only took about an hour to complete.

    I DIDN'T THINK I NEEDED THIS, BUT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE I BOUGHT. TURNS OUT MY HOME THEATER INSTALLATION WASN'T VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND I'M GLAD THIS WAS INCLUDED. MY HOME THEATER INSTALLATION WAS DIFFICULT AND WE HAD TO ADD A VIDEO SWITCHER. THESE GUYS TOOK IT ALL IN STRIDE AND INSTALLED THE NEW COMPONENT ON MY HARMONY ONE. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO CALL IT DURING THE INSTALLATION!? IT WASN'T AN OPTION ON THE LOGITECH WEBSITE. THEY MADE UP THE WHOLE THING, GAVE IT A NAME, AND TOLD IT WHEN TO COME ON, WHEN TO SWITCH, AND WHEN TO TURN OFF.

    The Geek Squad tech had problems with programing the harmony remote. He did fine with the rudimentary basics; but was not well versed in programming slightly more advanced features. He left the job, with the programing incomplete!!!

    No response after calling agent twice over 2 weeks to schedule his return to correct non-connectivity issues with CD, DVD, and hearing aid transmitter. Agent was on time and courteous.

    Geek Squad doesn’t know what they’re doing.

    The guy didn’t get anything connected correctly and I’m still stuck with what I had before he showed up. His name is Mike Lynch and and he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He gave me his card and he doesn’t answer his phone or respond to emails. I have spent thousands at Best Buy over the years but not one penny more. Lost this customer.

    Geek Squad team came out and found they needed software. Team was to come back the following day. I received a confirmation that the team was coming, but did not show up. When I attempted to contact customer service to see what the status is, I got an off shore person who knew nothing about the service call. I spend hours attempted to get this rescheduled without success.

    Remote Programming

    The remote was installed and was fine until one day the power was lost and the remote stopped working. The tech that installed it never gave us our login and password so now the Geek Squad is trying to charge us another $100 set up fee for someone to come out again. The overview of the service clearly states that the username and password are included in the service so this is ridiculous that they are charing us agin or can't supply us with the login information that we need.

    Geek Squad service is terrible!!!

    The agent didn't program it well and I have been waiting for a return visit for 3 weeks with 2 scheduled visits cancelled without notification and each time they could not reschedule for at least a week. The service has been terrible!!!!

    They never showed, and I called to confirm!! I had my son at my house all day. Called and confirmed time. I received text telling me an estimated time. The next day I received a rescheduled appointment email with no excuse!!

    There is no Harmony with my remote

    The technician wasn't sure how to program my remote and when he left and I went to use it it doesn't work and nothing is synched with it and I have to turn each device on manually now.
