I had to take my vehicle back to Best Buy to have the senior tech re-install my head unit (the most expensive one sold by best buy) because on my way home the first time I hit a bump and it shut off. I still have to go back again because the dash cam install was also done wrong. I have no reverse camera function despite buying a 500 dollar alpine dashcam designed for my head unit. I can't wait to hear the whopper they unload on me.

I purchased my head unit and all accessories, including the installation kit at Best Buy which is important for this review. I took advantage of free installation. But now I understand I get what I pay for. I have personally installed Apple CarPlay units in my other vehicle sure it took me all day, but it looks great so I expected more from someone who should be qualified and experienced, and does this on a daily basis Also know that I’m writing this review before I have a chance to pull the dashboard apart, see what this installer did to do such a crappy job. So basically, he installer installed this head unit about a half inch behind the dash kit. So it’s not flush with the dash kit like I feel it should be, and then he put some foam around the stereo with some sort of two sided tape so overall, it just looks like crap. I’m almost embarrassed to have somebody look at it. Needless to say since it was a “free installation “offer can I really go back to Best Buy and tell them it looks like crap to fix it? I should finally have time soon to pull that dashboard apart see just what he did. And while I’m back there, I sure hope he connected all the extra wires that came with the unit and the accessories and didn’t keep them for himself or I will be walking into the store and causing a problem
