Xbox 1 headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.got these on sale (@ the time) very nice only gripe is the mic isn't adjustable. sound and build is nice though. option to turn the light off for extra battery life also, battery last quite a while so that's awesome

Can hear but the direction is way off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset was on display and I wanted a wireless for my xone , the sound on the display model was good enough for me to purchase. Once I got the set home it was very easy to set up and use had no issues with that. My biggest complaint for this is when playing games fps games where you need directional sound these are definitely not the headset for directional hearing, I was constantly given the impression of movement and gunfire behind my character when it was impossible which really threw me off of my game . I had to put my old headset back on to be able to play... Best Buy accepted my return and gave me my full refund no hassles what so ever there.. Glad to know it is so easy to return something if I'm not satisfied with it. This headset may work for other types of games but for those where you may need direction of sound they are not it.

Awesome headset!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this headset. Finally decided to upgrade from the set that came with my Xbox One. You can adjust the levels between the background game sounds and your chat. You can remove the mic if you want, and you can mute. For me the coolest part is that they light up! Who doesn't like things that light up!? Sound quality is great too. You can even add extra bass if you really wanna hear those explosions boom!

Some small issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought numerous headsets and controllers for the Xbox One. All, including controllers where made by Microsoft and all, including controllers (the mic ports in the controllers) have broken. Rather than purchase a fourth controller after my 3.5mm port broke, I decided to go wirelless headset, this way I would still be able to use all the controllers that had broken ports. This headset works extremely well. The sound quality and ease of use is great. The battery life is also pretty awesome, although I've grown accustom to just charge it after every use, I used to go days without charging. There are a few small issues. There are random occurances where I would turn on my Xbox and headset but would find the headset not working, the easy fix is just unplugging the dongle and plugging it back in. This happens once every week or two. Perhaps the most annoying is how "tight" the headset is. I have an average size head and after playing for awhile, I have to take off the headset because it gets uncomfortably tight.

Great for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product so far, no issues, I don't have to shout at the mic, and at the same time it doesnt pick up my breathing which is a big plus for me considering I am a night time player. Also, Sound quality is great, and it looks really slick when lit up. The padding on the top of the head is amazing, almost like gel. They feel very durable. The only cons I've found: - my ears are a bit too big for the ear cuffs and poke out, which can hurt after a while. - the battery low indicator is pretty loud, kinda hurts if your volume is up, and cuts your mic and sound out for like 3 seconds when it beeps. - the cord it comes with is not long enough to "play and charge" as indicated in the instructions. This can be easily fixed because the port on the headset is the same as your controller. - the mic is flexible, but it's pretty stiff, so it's kinda scary to bend at first, I honestly thought I was going to snap it but it did curve quite nicely after I moulded it. As for the charge, I charged it for the 2.5 hours as indicated and it lasted quite a long time, 2-3 days without having to plug it in.

Awsome Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these afterglow headphones. I am a turtle beach user, but they have begun to hurt my earlobe and I needed a larger earphone. I tried on a pair of the after glow and I can wear these all day without any pain and they are truly wireless. I plug in my usb for the headphones and when the headphones power on they sync and I do not have to use any wires to plug into my controller. these are a great investment.

Decent but heavy and the mic blows
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They do sound good for the price but also have some issues that made me return them. First: the they are sturdy but too heavy for longer sessions. Second: the ear cups are some type of leather and can make your ears sweat. Third: the mic sound is decent but positioning it is impossible. It's way too stiff and the silicone material does not stay where you place it. It feels like a spatula! All things considered for the price they are ok. For a little more you can get more comfortable set with a better mic.

Great Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this headset. I even use it to watch some movies when I dont want to blast the TV volume. In gaming its great. You can hear the footsteps of the enemy and you can hear where the gun shots are coming from. Definately worth the price.

Great for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Met my expectations for the price. Was looking for a headset that had good sound quality without being too expensive since I'm a casual gamer. Sound is pretty good, the mic is flexible and can be removed, worth the $80.

Horrible Product DO NOT BUY!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game sounds are bad, and the chat is downright awful. It sounds muffled and murky. I can barely hear the people I'm talking to. My friend had a different Afterglow headset and it was garbage also. The standard mic that comes with the Xbox One sounds better than this. DO NOT buy this product or any other Afterglow Products. it is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Don’t buy this product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved after glow the company and I wanted to buy a nice headset because I use to only have the lvl 1 and 3 but I wanted an upgrade so I found the Ag9. I liked that it was wireless and all but after 3 weeks I had a problem the audio was broke the gameplay audio was on the right was left and the left audio was on the right but then I found a fix you have to plug and unplug the usb when you have it like that. Then 2 weeks later the mic did not work you have to bend it to fix it it was really bad and the 2 months later the whole mic does no work. I regret buying this bad terrible headset/product don’t buy this mistake for your loved ones. I got warranty I going to try to get store credit I hope

When it works it's great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased this and it may be operator error but I can't figure out how to use this with my ESO game. Either I can hear them and they can't hear me or I can't hear them and have no idea if they can hear me. lol So I'll keep trying and if/when I figure it out... likely a setting... I'll update this review.

Didn't have noise canceling, not pc compatiable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now, first thing, an in-store display said that the headphones could be used on XboxOne, PC, and Mac... which is of course a lie as I found out when I got home. Furthermore, the in-store display and the preview shown here both had a model that had noise canceling ear muffs, those that are plastic/rubber like. These are not present on the one I bought, and are instead the standard mesh-cloth style. Yes, it is the same exact headset by name and otherwise. However, considering I bought this for my pc and so I could block out noise, these headphones are completely useless to me.
