No response from Customer Support

I contacted the manufacturer to get the unit replaced under the 1 year warranty. I emailed the required receipt and picture of the defective product. After receiving no response for 2 weeks, I sent a follow-up email. Their response was to try the troubleshooting steps again. I did, with the same results. I was then told, via email, "To better assist you, your case is currently being reviewed by our second tier of PDP support specialists. We aim to provide you with a response within one business day." After not hearing from anyone for over a week, I send another email asking for status. I was asked to submit my receipt AGAIN. So I did. The response from PDP was "To better assist you, your case is currently being reviewed by our second tier of PDP support specialists. We aim to provide you with a response within one business day." AGAIN. It has now been 7 weeks since my initial replacement request. Today, I called the company's 800 number. The call is answered by a machine that says the voicemail is "currently being upgraded" and the only way to contact support is via email. I'm giving up on getting this product replaced. I'll be purchasing another headset, but will avoid any products made by this company.
