Kept me interested throughout

You are constantly active throughout the game play and there's never a dull moment. Story made for long game play to beat the game.

suspensful yet boring

The music and sound effects really build up the suspense and anxiety which is what makes the game enjoyable enough. However there is little that you can do for your defense of offend except create distractions and hide.
