Great gaming PC, battery life is a little short though

It can run games on ultra mode, the fan is super quiet even after hours of use. You can even change the frickin color of the keyboard and sides! Only downside is there is no cd drive so you'd have to buy a separate one but they're not that expensive. Otherwise I'm in love. (It also ways like 9 pounds so be warned)

The Alienware 17.3 Laptop is a device rich machine filled with great processing power, ample memory, superb graphics with dedicated memory and high definition display. This machine will not only support extreme gaming requirements, but it handles other graphic rich production tasks as well and with ease.

Product is exactly what I was hoping for. Runs great and high specced to last for a few years. Only caveat is the small SSD. I easily used it up with the OS and two games. But purchasing and installing a second SSD was inexpensive and easy through Best Buy.

Only think I didn't like is only three USB 3.0 ports, one of which is micro, so you need a dongle to connect to Oculus Rift. That said, with the dongle it runs Oculus Rift just fine. And this computer is expandable /up-gradable which other laptops are not.

Would give 5 stars but had to return the first one when mother board went bad during first week. Seems to be a problem with this model sometimes. Returned to store and got a replacement immediately and with no hassles. Has worked flawlessly since.

This is a high speed computer which can be used for gaming or other purposes that requires fast processing. The Windows 10 updates can become intrusive but so far have not caused any significant problems to me. I have so far enjoyed working with this laptop.

It is a smooth and elegant. It runs all of my games smoothly and is vr ready. the graphics accelerator is a huge plus for when you are ready for a more powerful graphics card. The design is nice and it feels like a quality made piece of tech.

The unit is really well designed and the various parts (memory, processor, video, storage, etc) are well mated. I run Linux and have one complaint and that is that the lighting on the system is not controllable via key combination or bios.

By far the best value for the price I paid. The customer support personnel at Best Buy in Bremerton WA , where I purchased this machine, know their stuff and their products. I am very happy with my Alienware Laptop.

Had to return due to liggt bleed but the 2nd one worked great. Viewing angles aren't the best on a TN screen but the gaming is so smooth. Works even better now with my graphics amplifier and 2080Ti

Alienware - 17.3" laptop really live up to my expectation. It is super fast and never overheated so far for 12 straight hours of gaming. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and relatives for gaming purpose.

My new Alienware 17 R4 is the nicest laptop I've ever had! I love all of the extra Alienware features that let me change just about anything on it including the color of light that lights up on the power cord!

This is a fantastic computer. One thing that really needed to be pointed out though, was the screen shutting off every two minutes. Was not the normal settings. Needed geek squad to look up how to fix.

This is exactly what you expect it to be. Top of the line for what you desire. Someone somewhere will say it doesnt have the best of the best of something but it does everything you could want.

This is a great laptop for live streaming and recording at the same time as it has enough power with the i7 processor and the 16GB of RAM to do both. Really happy with this purchase so far!

This is one of the best gamming system around, I have had 3 other systems that have failed to stand up to this one smooth graphic card, great sound does not lag under extreme use.

Alienware 17" laptop is great so far. Yes, it's a bit heavy and can get hot but so far it's worth it and no complaints. Having a separate/dedicated graphic card is great too.

I bought this Alienware laptop for my grandson and he is ecstatic with it! All his friends are really empressed with it and love to play on it. I would definitely buy again.

The laptop has enough memory and great graphics to handle our CAD and design programs. It works well in the field. The only drawback is it is heavier than most laptops.
