The new Alienware 17 is a high powered gaming laptop that features a desktop class NVidia 1070 GTX graphics card and performs on par (benchmarks within +-5%) of a i7-4790k devils canyon gaming desktop with a GeForce 980 GTX TI. It can handle just about anything you can throw at it, including VR, overwatch on an external 4k monitor, makes a great work computer for programming and game development, and is expandable with up to 32gb ram, 3 NVME SSDs, and a 2.5 inch sata SSD as well ( I might have upgraded mine a bit). Highly recommended.

Great computer with great specs. Enough power to run anything! Would buy again. Only problem I have with it , is that it's bulky and heavy

Fast, has a good keyboard including hotkeys. On the heavy side, but thats to be expected. Gaming machine, so it can do anything else you need.

My son loves it, he can create games. 3D options, many more creative things he can do than a normal laptop. This a great option for gamers!

This product does not overheat as much as other computers and has more colorful specs. It is good for playing computer games

This laptop is great for gaming. The solid state drive lets it boot very quickly and the graphics card can run every game I've tried.

Plenty of memory, Ram and cooling. Can upgrade the memory for future games. The laptop is heavy but well made. Worth every $.

Excellent performance. Looks good. Its not light but from a room to room portability perspective its great. I love the tobii eye tracking capability included. Makes life a lot easier. Screen is good with good viewing angles. Trackpad could have been bigger given the size of the laptop and ho much space is left. But works well. Speakers are amazing for a laptop. Great audio separation and adequate volume. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a 1070 laptop.

Really good laptop for me when im gaming, its heavy so its not portable, BUT this is like a mini desktop and super powerfull.

Alienware makes an outstanding laptop. Just heavy. But for a 17" and with the specs it has it's going to be heavy.

This the fastes laptop we have owned. Love having 16 mb of RAM. Also having 2 hard drives is great asset

Very good laptop especially the 17 inch screen. It is a bit heavy so I would recommend a backpack.

Fast to boot up, multitasks like a champ, and I've yet to find a game it doesn't run well! All around excellent!

This laptop was a replacement a previous AW which I loved. This new AW is fast! I love the lighting and configuration of the keyboard, plus the Graphics memory was outstanding for my photography/art software. However I wish it had a card reader and a few more USB ports. I also wasn't crazy about the split partioning of the operating system and the "data" system as the 128gb SSD drive can fill fast with program files, etc. Other than those minor issues, I love this machine!
