Perfect sound, size and quality for a compact car would recommend for small cars

Started off with 2 at 2ohms at 500 watts. RMS is 500 watts but they don't like it. Have had to return and get new ones. Buy the extra warranty if you are going to run them at 500 watts, you will need it!. Now I'm at 4 subs running around 3.5 ohms at 300 watts each. More bass and no problems. Happy now! When your wipers dance you know your there. Don't recommend running them at 500 watts if you plan to play them alot. They will heat up and blow.

This sub is excellent its 500rms which means it will pound harder than most sets of 2 other subs at best buy hook it up to a 1200 watt amp with 500 rms like the sony explode amp stay away from monos get a capacitor and a battery to feed it power Im about to hook another one up to another amp and watch peoples ears bleed lol

I installed this sub in a small sealed box (0.85 cu. ft.). It sounds really good; produces deep, tight bass. The box is pretty shallow, the speaker fit perfectly. It was easy to hook up. Recommend highly!

Purchased this speaker to replace a blown infinity kappa sub, which replaced a couple of jl audio subs that blew out. This sub is much better than the kappa and actually sounds better than the jl sub i had. Would purchase again. Currently have this sub paired with a jl audio 250/1

Awesome subs. Have two of them wired for 1 ohm impededence and they are thunderous. They may be considered starter subs by some, however these baby’s are absolutely fantastic when properly tuned. I actually had them set for 1500 watts RMS due to my own mathematical error and they handled it beautifully. Once I realized my mistake, I adjusted the gain to reflect 500 watts RMS as I really don’t want to push them THAT hard. Highly recommend these to anyone looking in this price range.

I had been looking for a quality subwoofer for a decent price when I received an email from Best Buy about their summer Black Friday sale. Between the enclosure and this sub I paid $105. Looking back my only regret is not buying a pair. This thing is unmatched for the money even at full price. At 600 rms I bought a mono amp for it and even the most brutal dubstep bass is this things bread and butter. I couldn't be happier.

I didn't think I would like the alpine d4 but wow!! man are they great and I got a 2yr plan on them for about $15.00 so if I blow them.. I get new ones

I have always been an Alpine fan, so this review might be a bit bias. I bought two of these type S Alpines. They great. Amazing punch for the buck. No, you will not win a competition with these subs, unless you are the only one in that category, but this is way more than enough for your daily commute. I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for great quality and sound, at a reasonable price.

Where to Start, I replaced my 12 inch Kicker for this when I saw the deal of the day add. Formerly a kicker fan I swapped out for this 12 inch alpine and cannot believe the difference in quality. I paid half the price for this Alpine at $60 and got 10x improvement. I have a single sub yet it performs like two with no sighs of struggling. Certainly a great sub even at $100 it is worth the value.

Sub hits hard and sounds amazing! It's driven by an Alpine mv-500 and mounted without a box under the back seat of my Ram 1500. The compartment is the perfect size.

If you are looking for a powerful bass line this speaker is for you. Solid sound. Four Star.

Good sub for a great price. Got a great package that included amp. Was unhappy of all the extra parts that I needed to purchase in order for them to install it. Would have been nice to know since the beginning.

Works great exactly as advertised hard-hitting replaceed a kicker,that replaced a pioneer and it hits harder than both of them

Purchased this subwoofer as a replacement. I have it paired with a JL Audio 250/1. This sub hits hard. Definitely worth the price.

This sub does exactly what I want it to. It provides lots of solid bass when I want and can be turned down to just enjoy the vocals. Such a good unit. Would recommend buying the warranty because as good as the large amount of bass coming from it is, blowing the sun is possible, and it's not necessarily a "cheap" product.

This sub had some bang! When you torn it up the whole car vibrates. When you play it at RMS it hits good lows and has clean bass

alpine is a great product. i was amazed how great they sounds with my factory radio.

After blowing several sets of speakers, we thought we would try these. So far so good. The sound is amazing.
