Nice sub for the price. It has decent sound and fits in the truck well with room left over.

Purchased this along with other various components for a sub-woofer system. Was told it was good, it crapped out less than 4hrs after installation of it. Buyer BEWARE - when purchasing floor stock / Out of Box equipment-Be sure to get at least a 1 yr warranty on all items. Took vehicle to another Best Buy Geek Squad store, they had a band new in the box exact speaker replacement and installed it due to the warranty I had purchased) Sound is a 100% better and no further issues with this speaker. (Purchased a 2 yr warranty on all floor stock-Out of Box items-Well worth the money)

They exceed my expectations. They play all the highs and lows and give me the deep base when needed.

I purchased this sub because it was my only real choice in store. I needed a dvc 4 ohm speaker and this was the only one B.B. stocked in store. I know I could have found better sub online but, I'm an instant gratification kind of guy. Overall this sub sounds great and hits hard enough for me. The sub is in a 1 cu. ft. Box. It is paired with a kicker CX600.1 amp. I get a little nervous that I'm over powering the sub. Although, I have it tuned so that I hear zero clipping at max volume.

Replaced my 2 12" Sony xplods and this one sub has more power and sounds better by itself

I love this sub and for the price....it is WELL worth it. Alpine never disappoints. Oh Yeaahh!!

All around sub hits hard great clarity good in ported box

Had a subwoofer previously that had an incredible output, however it wound up breaking. I was talked into getting the Alpine subwoofer, it does not even remotely compare to the volume that my previous one was capable of. It has bass but at a much lower level, hopefully it will last longer.

Excellent sound but the speaker blew initially. No problem as it was a fluke and best buy honored their return policy

This sub paired with a pioneer amp...it does the job and is surprisingly sufficient. But of course it's doesn't compare to the Type R. I'm actually very dissapointed in BBY because I had an issue with the type r and they stopped carrying it and could not fulfill my exchange. If you looking to get some bass I suggest it but it won't give you crazy sound like a type r

This is my very first time using Alpine subwoofers and I've got to say, they hit HARD. I've got two of them hooked up with a Pioneer amp which under-powers them, but it quakes. I look to upgrade to type R's pretty soon so I can knock my trunk even more.

Very cool subwoofer for the price. Everything sounded great after installing and came with plugs for changing impedance.

Gives great low end when put in proper box. will rattle the cage..lol

This subwoofer is a great product in it's category and price range. It easily handles the wattage specified and doesn't have any distortion or issues. It worked well to easily replace a blown subwoofer that I had and performs very well. I'm pleased with my purchase.

The sub looks awesome, sounds awesome--able to get the lows that my kicker never could. Definitely would recommend for anyone setting up their first system.

Fits perfectly with all my other speakers. Enjoying it.
