Nice upgrade to my Ford F150. The highs are much, much better but the speakers have no low end at all. Not a problem because I also added a Kicker sub.

Bass tight, treble clear. Awesome sound.Would buy again.

I chose these for my 1991 Mustang because my car came from the factory with 6 speakers (2 in the dash, 2 in the doors, and two in the hatch), and it seemed like a natural idea to put the main speakers in the stock door location, tweeters in the dash, and these 5x7s in the hatch. I mated these with the matching Alpine 6.5 component speakers in the front, all powered by an Alpine 4 channel amp. All I can say is wow. These speakers sound good powered by a modest aftermarket head unit, but they sound GREAT through the amp. The sound is just so much more...Full. The entire car is filled with clear and powerful sound. I currently have the interior out of the car as I am having a roll cage installed, but I cant wait to hear them with actual insulation in the car. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because the 6.5 inch components steal the show, but these compliment them very well.

I replaced my front and back speakers in a diesel F-250, the speakers sound awesome.

These speakers are excellent I'm running them off an alpine amp feeding them 50 watts rms. Crystal clear highs mid sounds great as well. If you aren't running a sub I'd recommend getting some foam baffles to help produce the lows.

Put four of these in a Ford F-150 as door speakers. Great sound!! Balanced, powerful, and loud when powered just by the car stereo. Have since added the Alpine amp and now incredible.

I thought the speakers were a great value very easy to install and sound great. The instructions for installation were easy to comprehend and the kit came with every thing but environmental splices. Some special tools are needed to complete correctly.

Clarity is supreme to me and these do the trick. I do not run bass through this babies because I have a bass tube. They don't need additional power to them but they can if you want more out of them. In my car I could use a power pack just because I like it super load.

Decided on these speakers after doing a little bit of research prior to purchase. Installed in a 2010 Hyundai Accent, at home, by myself with minimal tools (flat head screwdriver, phillips head screw driver, wire cutter, wire stripper). Paired my speakers with a Sony head unit that I had previously installed in the vehicle. The new speakers have a significantly crisper and more full sound than the stock speakers. Alpine is a reputable name in automotive audio and for a pair of speakers that won't break the bank I would highly recommend these.
