I figured Alpine would be better

Bad deal

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The stereo is good but it was a open box and I didn’t install it right away because I was busy, by the time I installed it I noticed that it wasn’t working properly, the screen had stains on the inside and I was went to the store to see if I could return it but it was too late I was very disappointed with Best Buy. I knew it was open box and it said it was good condition and that is not good condition!!!

I thought due to the low price it wouldn’t be a great stereo and it’d be cheap. But this radio is amazing for the price. Apple play works great. Radio works great. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to change their stock stereo to something like this.

Has to have the unit uninstalled and they didn’t have the same unit in stock so replaced w something else

We bought this for our 16-year-old daughter’s car and she is more than pleased with it. She was looking for basic functions and this screen offers so much more! She loves that she can make and receive calls and text on voice command and that she can have a map on her screen as she is a young driver. I highly recommend this screen!

Great Receiver

Have to connect the parking brake wire for access to items in the settings menu. Interface with CarPlay is very fast. Android Auto isn't as fast as the CarPlay but it works just as well. Screen quality is great. Oem speakers sound good. Maybe I'll invest in the amp attachment for this receiver at a later date.

Bluetooth range is about 30-40 ft. Only complaint is Apple car play only works on direct connection via usb/charging cable and some times the bluetooth needs to be activated manually.

However, if you are to use Android auto, be sure to use a very mighty USB to USBC cord to connect as sometimes it will disconnect. Everything other than that is perfect.
