We had to but a different unit and then the installation could not be done at that location. We waited about 3 weeks and drove 2+ hours to a different location to get it installed. Not a smooth operation. But, Justin did a great job.

Safety Feature renders this unit useless

BIG MISTAKE!! When I picked up my truck the deck looked amazing, but I would soon find out I had to set my EBrake to pair my Bluetooth. After I got it to pair it was good for a while, but it does cut out intermittently, and I still can't get into mt settings or even set my clock. All because you have to hook the deck up to your parking brake as a safety feature. I will never buy another Alpine unit again.

Lesson learned

The back up camera was a little odd, it use cones vs lines. I was not used to that and setting it up was not very easy. This radio also had poor call quality and issues keeping connection with Android Auto. After a few attempts to fix the issue, I had to get a refund and go back to a Pioneer, which has not had any issues. I stick to what works.
