Excellent product easy to use has Apple car play and Android auto

This is sad for me because I am a staunch ALPINE fan! This deck was an utter dissappointment. The search engine for usb is horrible. Android autotalk works alright. Deck constantly freezes. Volume level goes up and down randomnly whether using usb or comnected phone. Should have it's own ALPINE media player rather than relying on a 3rd party one on your phone. I had to shut mine of and restart it many times while on the road. Alpine sinply told me if I wanted a better deck to upgrade to the next model which os more than twice the price!!! In all fairness, I know people, 2 to be exact, who havent had these issues and like this deck.

Still have not got the video to play on the stereo!!! I wasn’t allowed to ask any questions about the stereo. No one took a moment to show me the finer points of my new $300 head unit

Alpine is the one of the best systems to have. They knocked this out of the park!!!!!

Great and very easy to install alpine system. Make sure to order a microbypass on ebay to avoid the hand brake headache. The only negative is the inability to custom make wallpapers, and splash screens, unlike older and higher end alpine units. Otherwise, sound is at alpine quality.

Screen response and feel is great, the UI is a little weird at first but you get the hang of it. Only dislike is the parking brake on-off-on requirement for accessing most of your settings. Perfect radio for the price I paid while it was on sale ($329)

This radio has all the functions I wanted, and such a great price. Highly recommend it.

Great radio for those that want a simple installation and Apple CarPlay

Unit itself is OK and provides nice features for the price. Easy to install to boot, had this been a NIB item. My biggest issue was that I bought a Best Buy open box in “Excellent Condition”, but the brake wire that was supposed to be ~4’ long was 3” and the power wire left 2” in front of the inline fuse because someone had cut them. That made the install way more challenging than it should have been. Takeaway…maybe shop at a reputable retailer instead.

I really like this unit. You get the CarPlay and/or android auto for your car which fantastic. Takes some getting used to not having knobs for volume control and the setup for a 2013 Hyundai Sonata requires the usb input to dangle on the passenger side for access. Minor complaint. I didn’t mind, meant extra cable if I needed it. Also can be used to link up a back cam if you want.

Made sound quality so much better than factory speakers! Very responsive touches.
