Purchased this unit to replace my current Kenwood radio. Need a unit that was compatible with Apple Car Play. My old unit still played CD/DVD, don't need these features in a sports car. The Alpine takes up less space. This unit can also be pared with the Alpine KTA 450 and both installed in dash.

GREAT RADIO LOVE MY ALPINE WILL NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE

This radio is way too expensive for the absolute lowest amount features. I 100% would never purchase this radio and if I could return iyu would but it has been too long waiting for the installation. So I did the install myself. Man do I wish I had just done the install from the beginning, I would of been able to get rid of this garbage radio. Fail on alpine, I expected better from them.

Only drawback is that bluetooth connection is erratic. On occasion, have to stop and pull emergency brake for it to reconnect. Also, this stereo doesn't display song title and artist when playing radio.

Everything works perfect! I really like the Apple Play.

Good quality for the price! Happy with the purchase.

Being able to have access to my iphone music and stream Sirius XM from my phone has made my older truck feel like new. Love this radio. My only complaint is that I wish it supported wireless collection.

Overall a great unit for the price. It doesn't look flush in a 2016 honda civic. So if you are looking for the flush look, this is not it. You will have a 1/2 inch gap. The colors are vibrant even with the sun.

I didnt get a chance to test the stereo. i returned it before it was installed since it did not have a remote included and could not get a definitve answer if a remote control could be purchased separetly.

Very nice low profile bezel makes it look more “factory” than other units. OS is responsive and screen is the best I’ve seen. Best Buy install was great and quick.

Doesn’t connect to Bluetooth and the backup camera sucks

Nice head unit. Functionality seems fairly smooth. Switching back in forth from different sources works very well. Speaker output from the unit itself is powerful. What’s cool about this unit is you can add an additional power amp pack on this unit and seriously amp up the power. Great HU for the money!

The alpine radio is a great entry level full screen radio. It does not have cd/dvd player or No HD radio. The equalizer has some great adjustments. I would recommend it to anybody with a low budget. You will not be unhappy with this purchase.

Very disappointed. This was suppose to be an open box excellent condition item. It was not cleaned with wires showing someone had tried to put connectors on them. Should have contained a microphone which was missing. Doubt if the radio has been tried for functionality. Will return if it does not perform as expected. Should have just purchased new.

I knew what I was getting when I purchases this Alpine radio. I needed a radio with Bluetooth capability and knew from previous experience that Alpines were good radios. Seemed like an obvious choice!

Looked for a while for a new radio and seemed that most jeep owners were going for this unit. The plus side I love the space the unit leaves for the add-on amp. The downside for me is the brightness, the dimming function is subpar, half the time it will glitch out on carplay and do a system reboot. The capacitive buttons work as they should, Haven't had any issues. For $300 we as the customers should be able to add custom wallpapers and splash screens. Even alot of cheaper units offer this feature.

I put this in my father's 06 impala to replace the factory base unit, it works great, and does exactly what I thought it would do, I had to buy an adapter in order to retain the steering wheel controls, and it functions flawlessly alongside the stock wheel controls
