My son loves his Alpine - 7" Apple® CarPlay™ - Built-in Bluetooth stereo. He has a 2005 Chevy Colorado and awesome stereo. He hasn’t had any problems since my husband installed. Great birthday gift!

Worked great for two years, then went black and was toast

Radio was just installed by Geek Squad - super quick installation, great service. Can’t speak much to the radio just yet, but it seems to be doing well. Turn signal alert changed but that was the only unexpected incident.

When playing music it would cut off and then the the screen would freeze and it won’t be able to play anything.Using car play with my Apple phone that my phone would ring but no one can hear me and I can’t hear them. So disappointed about Alpine product.I have to exchange this immediately because I need my music. Haven’t had in my vehicle but just 3 weeks.

Freezes up a lot of the time. Tried multiple cables for my phone and just doesn't fix anything.

Almost perfect if it allowed video streaming from iPhone. No real big complaints outside that, really makes the interior of your car look and feel newer.

Got this as an “open box item” it works great, has all pre-outs I need for my custom stereo system. Also really cool, it has a built in 9-band equaliser! Apple CarPlay ready! Highly Recommended!

This alpine was ok. The picture could be a little bit clearer. Also the volume control could be designed better.

Nice head unit, however I did need to get a bypass so the passenger could use all function while the car was being driven.

I wish someone would have asked me about satellite radio when I purchased this. After the install, I had to buy a 2nd part and pay for another installation even though when I went in to buy the stereo, it was because I wanted one that had the Sirius receiver built in.

You have to engage the parking brake to connect any bluetooth devices, other than that, no complaints!!

Nice radio for the price. The Bluetooth could be easier to connect to. Sometimes I have to turn off radio so I can use my phone though Bluetooth.

Awesome Media Player for my Honda CRV! Trace always does a stellar job installing and this player works perfectly and sounds so dang good! Thanks

Looks great installed in my 1996 Toyota. Unfortunately, there is an issue with handsfree calling. You can search the internet and find similar reported problems. I can't hear who I am talking to. It's almost non-existent. I contacted Alpine and all they told me to do is turn up the volume. I would've returned it but the price was low and I didn't want to uninstall it. Other than that, I like the features and the music quality.

Nice radio nothing spectacular about it. Works well and a good fit for the car! Definitely a reasonable price and nice design.

Terrible performance on Apple CarPlay, which was the main reason for buying this stereo. UI and sound freeze up periodically, often as much as every 30 seconds. Sometimes will go for 15 min without freezing up. The phone is still playing music or podcast, the stereo just goes silent and the touchscreen is non-responsive for 4-5 seconds. Happens at standstill, when driving, etc. Sound is fine when only using radio features. Works well with steering wheel controls on my 2016 Jeep JKU, when it's not frozen, that is.

No CD, great audio gave my stock speakers a lot more bass, only thing i hate is the clock keeps resetting to 12:00 every time I start the car

Absolutely love it. Perfect replacement for my oem radio. The best part was the service I received at the store specially the installers. The installers were top notch and well knowledgeable of everything car atereo.

The map kept blinking between day and night mode. Found a work around on google to access admin settings on phone to set to night mode only. Still switches every now and then but much better. Some times the radio won't play Sirius after exiting vehicle for a bathroom break but once you hit play on phone itself (defeats purpose of hands free), it starts fine. Everything else is perfect including perfectly sounding phone calls.
