Its a shame, the stereo overall is great. but this feature being broken is a huge issue.

Nobody told me I had this option.

ALPINE!

Apple CarPlay

Start up takes a little while but once it’s on you can navigate through apps super fast. Nice 9 band EQ lets you customize the sound how you want.

High Hopes "Dashed"

I've had less than stellar results in the five months that I have been using it. I had issues getting Android Auto to stay connected until I replaced my old USB cable with a USB-3 cable. I guess this is common. Also, the Bluetooth sometimes will not connect to my phone. I have to shut the ignition off and back on to get it to recognize my OnePlus 8t. Lastly, in the last couple of weeks the deck has been freezing up and rebooting itself at the main screen before I can even connect my phone. Looks like I will have to send this unit back to Alpine for repair. When it works, this deck fits the bill. The screen can be hard to see when any sunlight is on it.

Great price with Apple car play
