Would recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade a stereo

The "Alpine" audio brand has fallen steeply. This is probably the worst radio I've ever had. To adjust the sound is 5 clicks from the main screen. The music chips out as you make incremental adjustments to the bass or treble. The sound overall is very flat. Certain features (ex. Change the clock time) you literally have to put the car in park & pump the parking brake 2x to access. The Android Carplay is a joke. It has to hook up to a cord (not Bluetooth) and the features are wack. I thought it would be similar to a tablet, but its basically about 5 preselected apps. None of which I use. The GPS on it is atleast 10yrs old, and constantly loses signal & freezes. If I didn't have to pay a pretty penny to install, I would return this crap

Put into an old school car, it was easy to install

Over priced id say.. I had a kenwood receiver and while this unit has a bit higher quality i wouldnt say the price matches.. in fact i find that the crossovers bland out all the mid bass. i have this unit with Alpine 6 1/2 s types in the front and S type 6X9 rear.. i had to turn all the crossovers way down because tunes everything out.ALSO the unit wont work without a By-pass parking brake sensor. So once you get it home and install it and find out it wont work. for 500$? Heck! no! Buy a Kenwood. And im a die hard alpine fan

I bought this touchscreen to replace my current one. I wanted Apple CarPlay, the guy was very nice and installed it perfectly. When I turn on the music it sounded terrible, my speakers are pioneer, and I bought a alphine touchscreen. After all, I returned it, and replaced it with a pioneer touchscreen. My speakers sound amazing now.

Haven’t installed it yet.. I didn’t realize you had to buy $500 in parts to install it in my car so I have to Save up to us to install it

For an Alpine at 300 bucks this should be better than it is. Not many features or apps that work with it. Problems with phone Calls if I have the phone connected with usb the call will lose sound on my side (in the car) but the caller can still hear me. Geek squad install was the worst even though it was free still not working right to this day due to install.

I took a chance on this after switching from the Pioneer in my old car and man do I regret it. It's very glitchy. Android Auto goes in and out. Dark mode switches on and off. Most of the settings I have no access to. Oh, and I had this "professionally" installed at Best Buy. I now have to waste more time getting another car deck installed at another store and pay money to upgrade. This deck runs awfully and my installation process was terrible.

After 5 months the screen is glitching. Will see if they stand behind their product. Liked it up until this.

Initially it seemed OK when it first came in but now it’s not working properly and it was not in great condition like it said it was.

For the most part I like the product. The only problem is most of the features are grayed out and I am not able to make any changes.

Couldn't tell ya how it is cause it won't be installed till the end of January best buy needs to get more installers or something
