    Non-Traditional 4 Channel Amp

This is a non-traditional 4 channel amp that is small & compact! No 4 channel amp to hide or take up valuable space in your vehicle because this unit can easily be hidden behind your dash or any discreet location in your vehicle. Does not require additional wire such as a amp wire kit. Great upgrade to power your factory premium speakers or aftermarket speakers. Good value and what's to complain about Alpine! Quality product!

This amp solved my audio dilemma. After owning an Alpine deck and the older version of this amp. I switched to a 2DIN Pioneer in hopes it would be better because of a giant screen, then found out it was actually worse. I stumbled upon this amp while talking to an install tech and mentioned to him that I just wanted to use my phone as a signal source instead of a deck or 2DIN. It was a mixture of simplicity and security (NYC has some rough streets) that led me to the decision of purchasing and installing this amp. The instructions weren't the best but were good enough to understand given some time. One of the setups within the manual was to allow for standalone operation with an iPod as a source. The people over at Alpine really went to town on this unit and I'm happy they did! Overall, the amp has very good sound output given its size and price. However, the pros for this unit is also directly related to the cons. I tested the unit by playing some music while setting up the gain controls and noticed it was getting rather warm within a few minutes of use. In addition to the heat, there was a bit of noise as I turned the gain past 35% to 40%. I would still recommend this to other people that are looking for a "stealthy" install or just want a little boost to their current decks without the whole wiring mess of a traditional standalone amplifier.

This amp is awesome. It powers all 12 of my speakers so well that my kids complain when the volume is at 6. I've had it as high as 16 and could barely stand it because it's so loud. I really don't know how high the maximum volume is because my ears would explode. I mean this in the best possible way. It gets louder, NOT distorted. I coupled this with the Alpine CDE BT137HD head unit (see that review for further info) After a worthless, expensive, more bells than whistles Sony touch screen head unit that I replaced in a matter of weeks, this is so much more bang for the buck!

My new car need a serious sound upgrade yet on a budget. I don't need a thumper setup. Replaced four of the speakers with outstanding 6x9 JBL GX 963 speakers which sound great yet the stock amp needed to be turned up to 80% to bring them out. Hard to have a conversation at that level. Research my options and choose the Alpine power pack. Bam that did the trick. Clarity at every volume is clear and pure. Now these speakers sound like you are really hearing your music live. Volume is huge. What use to take 80% max volume now takes about 33%. Turned it up to the 80% level and almost went deaf. I can get my Led out now with this great little power pack behind my dash. Love my sound now.

After reding all of the positive reviews I decided to go for this little sucker, especially since it was on sale! I wasn't comfortable with the install so I spent the best $65 of my life, having the Geek Squad do the install on my 2001 Toyota MR2 which has one set of Infinity 62.9i's in the front doors paired with the stock 3/4" tweeter. I had already thrown a Bazooka BTA8100 behind the seats, so this FINALLY provides me with some actual volume from the speakers and not just an overwhelming boom from the tube. I am both completely satisfied and quite frankly stunned with this little "candy-bar" amp.

This is a great amp that replaces all of the other wires and clutter from a normal amp. I am new to car audio installs and I was pleased to hear that this could be installed behind my head unit in my 2014 Focus ST. Now I don't have an amplifier under my seat or bolted to my back seat. Don't forget to ask Geek Squad to tune the amplifier before you leave, especially if you just got new speakers. Take the extra 20 minutes to get the sound right and you'll love it. There is no distortion at all when playing at above mid level volume.

Great Power at a Great Price!

I have a Dodge Ram Quad Cab (4 Door) and this little amp is amazing! It's running my two front Kicker 6x9s and my rear 5 1/4 Polk Audio with no problem! as a matter of fact it runs them amazingly! I was just running stockers of my Kenwood deck and it sounded terrible, No Lie. But when I put in this little amp and the kickers and Polks WOW what a difference! If you are looking for something at a good price that is going to make a difference this little amp is your answer! Another great thing about it is it is small and fits right behind your stereo so you dont have to buy a separate amp kit or anything.

    Alpine KTP-445U

installed this on my corolla 94 sedan driving Alpine SPS-610C speakers. This amp truly drives these speakers very well. at high SPL levels, the sound barely distorts and amp seems to be able to handle feeding the speakers clean sound. the amp also runs cool (barely warm) even during loud listening sessions. now i am not comparing this amp to larger more powerful units that shred out 300 to 1000 watts, they are a different breed what this amp does it it provides music that adult listeners normally listen to and can handle different forms of music very well. the amp powers my front and rear speakers (all alpines ) and i get a sense that the music is engaging and the beat is musical. i don't feel tired nor searching for the music rhythm even when i am stuck in traffic. the amp drive the SPS-610c with an engaging beat and musicality. one thing about this setup is you will be wanting more bass or lower end kick as the speakers do not deliver that kind of punch. other than that, i give the amp an excellent rating !

I had aftermarket speakers put in my Nissan Rogue Sport, while they sound great, the factory head unit was not pushing enough power to go loud and my rears essentially were worthless. The BB installers asked if I do subwoofers, I said no, they then recommended this as it is cheaper and gives you the missing power. I took them up on it and it made my aftermarket speakers feel like a real investment. I hear sounds I did not hear before this baby was installed. Best part??? It's hidden. If you get this be ready to buy extra stuff for the install, not everything you need is in the box, for my FACTORY stereo they added in a factory amp line bypass, 2 sets of Kicker RCA cables, install for Amp and install for bypass. PLUS unit cost. They also took the time to price match to get cost down for me.

I purchased this amplifier to go inside my harley fairing. It was the perfect size and its performance has been spot on. paired with a set of 6.5 in speakers, I have no problem hearing my tunes at 70 mph. It is as if this was purpose made for this application.

I have an HD Ultra Classic and first changed head unit to Ken-wood and changed the speakers to Polk audio marine grade w digital crossovers. Noticeable improvement but couldn't hear over 70+ mph and sound was distorted. Now I can hear great to about 85. That's pretty amazing. Wind and engine (pipes...big shot duals) noise increase exponentially beyond that. But the difference in clarity and volume to give me another 15 mph is awesome and deserving of 5 stars. Very small and perfect for the fitment. Self tappers right into the head unit mount. Couldn't be more pleased for the price point.

Installed In A 03 Grand Marquis With Polk Audio DB571 (6x8s) As My Factory Speaker Replacements That I Received As A Christmas Gift Back In 2012...Fast Forward To The Present (August 20, 2014) I'm Using A Factory Unit & I've Come To The Realization That The The Polks Were Not Getting Enough Power.. Thought About Buying An After Market Radio In The Past(Only For The Power) Then I Came Across The Alpine Power Pack. Bought It As An Open Box Item & After Hours Of Trying To Install It.. The Amp Wasn't Working So I Took It Back And Received A Brand New One At The Same Rate As The Open Box Price.. Kudos To Bestbuy. Removing The Head Unit Is The Only Easy Thing About Installing This Unit... Aligning The Proper Wires & RCA Wires Is Very Time Consuming.. Just When I Thought The Hard Part Was Over, I Had To Find A Comfortable Area To Put The Amp Where It Would Be Out Of The Way..... If Anyone Is Familiar With The Grand Marquis/Crown Victoria/Lincoln Towncar... Everything Is Tight.. Was Able To Put The Unit Behind The Cigarette Compartment.. Clear & Out Of The Way Now To The Sound.... Its Definitely Night & Day.. Much Clearer & The Bass Is Great.. Had To Toggle With The Presets (Equalizer) Until I Found What Was Best For Me... Definitely A Great Investment..

To be honest I started with the kenwood 400watt model and it kept clipping out....discouraged that I did my install wrong, I repeated every step. The sound kept going out at high volumes....I rerouted the power straight to the battery and redid the ground to...kenwood amp could not handle the high volume...went back to best buy and exchanged it for the alpine 400watt model...holy cow...now that is what I expected to hear. Clear lows and crisp highs...no clipping at high volumes. This made my day....also love the gain control for each front and rear speaker sets...an option not available on the kenwood model.

My old Braun Flex series gave out, or really the battery pack did. I guess I could have cracked the case and tried to replace the battery pack but it's at least 10 years old so I figured I'd try a new one. I've tried the rotary styles in the past and they never shaved my neck whiskers as well as the foil type, though they actually shave my cheek whiskers a touch closer. Anyway, overall the foils work better for me and I was pleased with my last Braun so I saw no reason to change. I bought this one based on pretty good reviews plus I caught it on sale for about $120. I'm pleased with it. It shaves at least as good as my old one. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I can't really tell that it shaves any better than my last one. I was really hoping 10 years or so of advancements would have yielded noticeably better results. Still, I do recommend it and would buy it again.

This Alpine power pack is the way to go if you do not want to change out your head unit, and upgraded the factory speakers to after markets. Sounds great. Only issue I had was I let BB install this for me and the installer did not set anything correctly.... gain, crossover, etc. I picked up the car and thought it sounded worse. Went home pulled out the amp and notices he had all the settings completely jacked. The power pack is in a 2014 camry. with kicker 6 1/2" in the rear deck, kicker 6x9 in front doors, and 3 1/2" tweeters in the dash board.
