This amp was my first car audio purchase since college…. Tech has caused things to shrink, yet still be efficient- this amp is an example of that. Before I begin - let me say I like a clean factory look…. I try to keep things factory but the sound was terrible. It is in my 2010 FJ Cruiser…. Pushing new component 6x9 speakers …. From a pioneer wireless CarPlay headunit. It makes a world of difference - 4x40 rms for sure - just enough to be loud and clear…. I haven’t pushed the speakers yet as I don’t blast things- but music is so much more different with an amp. You’re missing details in your music if you’ve only ever used a stock stereo- yes even jbl. If you like that factory look- this will work with your factory radio- an extremely easy install as well …. This amp takes up very little space but does its job very well. Super easy install as it can run off the headunit within certain parameters…. Just get it.

Great little amp. Got it for my '78 F150 to run door speakers & 6x9s behind seat. Loud, clear sound. Nice compact size. I have it temporarily mounted with zip ties in the pics. (The actual mounting brackets are missing but that is Best Buy's fault) Plan to remount it more securely later. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the location of the adjustments, gain, etc.

I got this for my 17 Ford Explorer because it doesn't have the premium sound system. I did a lot of research and also got the iDatalink DFO2 T-Harness so I didn't have to cut any wires and everything matched up perfectly simply plug and play. I did upgrade the door speakers to the kicker 6x9s which I had to find a special universal bracket for because the one that designed for it was to thick and I couldn't put my door panel back on and 6.5 (speaker bracket fits perfect) which gave me more bass and treble. This Alpine KTP-445U mini amp enhanced the sound did fit between my factory 8.4in screen and my glovebox.

Used this for my Victory Cross Country Touring. I upgraded the speakers and the factory amp struggled to keep up. I grabbed this amp and it pushed my upgraded speakers with no distortion. My speakers are currently the Kicker CS line. This amp offers powerful sound in a very small footprint.

Replaced my stock Bose speakers with Alpine R series and used this amp to power them. Provides a lot more power and at half the size. Could even fit behind your dash.

    Great Amp

My 2016 Chevy Colorado came equipped with MyLink. But Chevy used pitiful amplification from the head unit. 2nd row door speakers were of no effect. Adding this Kenwood amp and a set of 6.5 Infinity speakers to the 2nd row has brought the truck back from stereo purgatory. The Best Buy techs went the extra mile and helped tune the bass crossover and overall amp output to fit the cabin. THEIR HELP WAS INDISPENSABLE. This is the aftermarket answer for making the non Bose MyLink worth keeping.

It does a good job of keeping your music loud and not worrying about blowing your speakers at the same time. It does not take extra space or wiring. installation is discrete under the dash and no exposed wires. The AMP comes with its own wirings which are small as well. It almost doubles the power of your stereo, I can't even pass half of the max volume of my stereo with this amp. You can also adjust the crossover of the AMP to your own needs.

I own a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a soft top and base radio. To say the least I need more power to run my 4 6.5" speakers plus needed a small unit because of limited mounting locations because I use my Jeep offroad. This unit supplied the perfect power I needed plus great options to tune my speakers properly and was able to mount it behind the dash next to the radio. Install was straight forward and easy and I have limited skills. I would recommend this alpine unit to anyone.

Ive had it for a little over a year now and it has a Good amount of power for a smaller easier to hide amp compared to other multichannel amplifiers. The last thing i needed to complete my audio setup in my car and with the gain turned up at about 50% i hardly need to raise the volume on my stereo above 15 out of 40 volume. I highly recommend getting some sound dampening and speaker baffles to avoid any possible rattle.

I bought this power pack along with my Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS and i must say that it was a great purchase. I had stock speakers and saw an improvement right away, and then switched to after market speakers and was blown away by the crispness of the amplified audio. It has a 2 channel or 4 channel option with 60hz/80hz/120hz bypass switches. It hooks up in between the stereo harness and the harness adaptor for the factory wiring. It is powered by the factory wiring so no need for an amp install kit or anything like that. The instructions are pretty clear for those who are DIY'ers (Me) and i had no problem locating it in a hidden spot for less clutter. It has 4 female rca outputs so getting double male adapters or X male SPLITTERS would help wiring them. You also have the option to wire them at stereo level. All in all i am very pleased with the amp, saves a ton of time installing over traditional 4 channel amp and running a bunch of wires from the speakers to the amp etc.. Keep in mind this amp is for most setups that are average. It wont win any competitions but it will give you a boost to the real crisp sound you want to hear on stock or lower end aftermarket speakers.

This tiny little thing sure packs a punch.... I have it mounted behind an alpine ilw-650 head unit. Have HPF switches set to 80hz powering 4 Kicker KSC660 speakers with the gains turned a smidge above 1/4. I NEED BETTER SPEAKERS. This thing seems to be too powerful for the speakers that "should" handle this amp no problem but they don't because the amp pushes much harder than expected and I'm running it a 4ch/4ohm. It's also bridgeable to 2 channel at 2 ohm. Great amp!

This is a great little amp if you buy good speakers and don't want to run a bunch of wires. My A4 factory system sounded pretty bad. I started off with a new Pioneer head unit and that helped, but it would distort at high volume. Next I bought four 2ohm component speakers that were said to run fine on low rms wattage. They did not. I when with the power pack because 45 watts rms would be plenty and it looked small plus I wouldn't have to run a bunch of wires. The system gets pretty loud now, but the best part is, it remains crystal clear. My days of booming bass are long over, but has my system sounding louder and most importantly, cleaner than any of my old cars. The amp fits perfect in the top rack in my glove box. When I bridged the amp (90 watts rms), it actually gave the front speakers too much power. The speaker are rated at 2-90 watts rms. overall I would say I'm very happy.

Extremely easy to hook up and makes aftermarket speakers sound so much better than the factory radio. I installed mine on a 2003 Goldwing. It is installed in the trunk cubby. The included wiring harnesses made install a breeze. Also, the amp is the perfect length to fit on top of the side rails in the cubby. This is driving Alpine speakers in the front and Kicker speakers in the rear and my bike sounds amazing even on the freeway.

This little amp is impressive. I bought it for my polaris rzr. It is very small and well put together. I hooked it up on the 2 channel option for 2 kicker 6 1/2" speakers, and later if I install more I can just flick the button and revert back to the 4 channel mode. It is impressively loud and has good install instructions. ***My only complaint is the inline fuse. I doesn't come with one and you won't notice that the fuse spot is empty until it's all installed and won't power up. Then I broke the fuse cover trying to open it. I just cut it out and added my own so I can use common ATM fuses.
