Sturdy enough for my surface pro and 12" laptop, adjustment range is quite satisfactory and easy to do; folds up small enough to fit between nightstand and bed when not in use. Great item for the price

This stand works well if you are laying in bed . I especially like the fan feature, since my laptop tends to get warm on the bottom. It's pretty adjustable to accommodate your need.
