I can use it on my desk to stand at my computer rather than sitting. I use it to put my lap top on for zoom calls, raising the laptop so the camera isn't looking up my nose. I use it for my computer video recordings. I use it in bed for reading heavy books, or my tablet.

This desk works well, and is easy for her to setup or change to her liking. It's good to see her use the laptop now in a better position, and she moves it to other areas of the house now, because she's found it useful outside of her bedroom as well.

Elevated monitor

Only thing is I wish, it is about an inch low. But this is a lot better than having it on my desk.
