My understanding is that this one of the cheaper washers out there and after trying it out, I see why. The main problem with this washer was that it would only do warm washes. No matter what setting you put it on, cold or hot, it would still do your wash in warm water. Another concern was that there was no way to soak your load ahead of time. The only other concern was that the washer didn't seem to use much water, however, I think that's just the way new "washer" technology works. For people not used to this type of washer, there's a tendency to "help out" the washer by adding a bucket of water to it. Anyway, I ended up returning it in exchange for a washer with more features.

This washing machine doesn't have all the bells and whistle but it gets the job done.

I ordered this machine online and it was delivered yesterday. The delivery went great and the delivery guy was super nice so no problems there at all. As far as the machine goes, I do regret buying it. I honestly thought it was broken because the agitator makes so much noise during the wash cycle. Best Buy should include a video with the sounds so you can hear for yourself before purchasing. Google Amana troubleshooting wash sounds and watch the YouTube video. It’s even louder than that in person. My bedroom is close to my laundry room so there will be no sleeping while this thing is being used. On the plus side, the small load of laundry that I did came out clean. I was going to buy the matching dryer, but now I will happily pay more for a better dryer.

This is a basic washing machine, nothing fancy. I don't need all of the extra - just a reliable washing machine. This is it.
