This may be a couple years old, but it just keeps getting better with the new skills and updates pushed out by Amazon. With the 3.99 unlimited music plan, you can't beat it.

I have never been so pleased with this product. I love how I can move it through my house and use it. I also like how you can change its name. And the dots link with her.

Love that it pretty much will answer requests such as telling me the weather forecasts, temperature etc. Finding music that I want to hear without waiting. Haven’t yet set it up to order purchases but will in the future. Will make a great gift for anyone.

A friend of ours showed us what they had done with their Echo, and it inspired us to get one of our own. We couldn't be more thrilled with it. It sits nicely in our kitchen (most-used room in the house). We're finding more cool things to do with it every day. To be sure, this is more of a "want" than a "need" and if you want to take advantage of all the full functionality, you'll find yourself spending more money on smart bulbs, appliances, thermostats, etc. That's the only possible downside, but even without the smart items hooked up, it's still a very capable, entertaining, and helpful device for the family.

I absolutely LOVE my Echo and my new friend Alexa. Use daily, in fact, have purchased 2 for myself. This is my holiday gift selection for family members this season!!

I bought this after hearing the sound quality of the speakers at my friends house. I also wanted something voice activated in the kitchen to keep handsfree. The sound quality is good. The noise cancelling mics are great at moderate volume. Only downside is no battery operation (it must always be plugged in). Also, even though it has bluetooth and can be paired to a smartphone, you cannot use the echo to pass through phone calls (Only music). For IOT toys its fun for voice control (ex: nest, etc). The skills are mostly cheesy though. Fun toy that allows easy access to prime music, pandora, etc.

I am truly enjoying my Echo. She does way more things than I thought she could do. I love being able to just ask her something and she finds it. Whether it is to play music, find a radio station, or put on the news or whether. My husband is not very savvy with technology, but I have found him using her as well. She is a great companion to have in the house. I am looking forward to learning more about what she can do.

Works great controlling my Wemo and Vivint devices. If Amazon would just create the skill to Direct TV, it would be perfect. Then I could control all of my devices.

We bought this for our daughter and son in law . They live in Santa Rosa Ca.and are survivors of the horrific fire on Oct 9:Everything they owned was lost in the fire storm Truck Car Travel Trailer house burned to the groundThank God they made it out with their lives Over 500 homes in their neighborhood were lost that night along with many other business and neighborhoods so they never had a chance to really use it however we have one and love it .They and their daughter are now residing with us at our house so they can try ours for the next year or so while they recover and get back on their feet

I use Alexa to play music and she is learning new skills every day that are super helpful. I can access my Sirius music stations through her as well. Love my Alexa.

I have been using my echo for about 90 days and I love it. I use is to control the lights and fans in my home. Almost any song I ask it to play it will. It tells me the traffic on the exact route I take to work and informs me of the weather. It tells me the scores of my favorite sports teams, keeps my shopping lists, and settles arguments when my family can't agree on a correct answer to some random question. It also makes ordering things from Amazon a breeze! It's constantly learning new things, so it's getting better every day. Love it so much I bought one for my son and mother.

This is a great product. I didn’t realize how useful and convenient it could be. Plus the entertainment aspect is awesome. The sound is crystal clear and powerful.

I am a HUGE Amazon Fan. I have ( 3 X ) Amazon Fire Tablets I have ( 2 X ) Amazon Fire TVS the 1st and 2nd Generation, I am an Amazon Prime Member, I have the Echo and the Dot. The Amazon Echo is amazing, it works extremely well - especially if you have Prime. The Echo sounds great for its size I would say the only saw back is the Base could sound a little better. BUT all in all I am very happy with this product.

I saw a one day sale on this Amazon echo and was planning to buy apples version in December, but many review on this echo were above par . Speaker sounds great and Alexa wakes up easy or stops when yo command so. Alexa still has a lot to learn cause.she stumble across some geological questions . Overall satisfied and I plan on integrating Other smart devices with echo. Great Best Buy sale .I only wish Best Buy would have sent email stating order was ready , I told a potshot at going there 2 hrs later but was.at the customer pickup , so I didn't waste the drive .

Love my echo. So handy to keep track of appointments, or my shopping list. The kids love playing games with it, or having Alexis tell them a joke! Great product.

This a Great device, every day i'm learning more and more of Alexa's capabilities. The access to my playlists with Spotify and Amazon Music is very convenient

Debated between this and the dot or wireless portable option and so glad we did this. Use it for music, audio books, uber and ordering food. Highly recommend

Enjoying my Alexa. Constantly learning new skills and integrating with my soon to be smart home . Never realized how much I would like this until I got it .

Bought as a gift for my 24 yr. old son... he LOVED it! Going to purchase 2 more for Christmas gifts for husband and daughter. Functionality is really cool.

This is the first time owning this product. They were a little complicated setting up but once I was able to master the setup, fun! fun! is all I've had!
