The device is fun to use and is nice for the family. I wish this model had the connection to other systems like the smaller version. Music is really nice and easy to play through the device.

Never thought I would like this, but my wife gave me one for Christmas, and I love it. It is very easy to use and fun.

The best voice activated device I own. Gets it right 90% of the time. So easy to check weather, time, top news, alarm.

What great interactive features...understands commands very well except when music is loud. Why not add a digital or analog output so it can be used in conjunction with your home audio as well?

It does everything it's advertised to do and with some of the expected new releases it should be even more fun and useful

Alexa is fun to use and the speaker is plenty loud for my bedroom. Haven't installed anything for home animation yet.

Set up was very easy. Great for looking things up like the weather. Doesn't know answer to a lot of questions

There's a lot of growing functionality with this product. I have a Philips Hue setup in my home, and it's nice to just ask for a certain lamp or set of lamps to turn on, off, dim or brighten. Saves me a trip to the lightswitch! The bluetooth speaker functionality seems spotty, as I have it connecting to my PC and it will arbitrarily disconnect, whereas other bluetooth speakers within about the same radius will connect and stay on. Aside from that, it's rather like having your phone handy and constantly listening to you, so you need not pull it out and ask for your appointments (or make them), and other things you might be used to doing with the Google Voice feature (or Siri).

We are enjoying Alexa for her flash briefing of the news, music on demand, calendar review, and shopping lists. We have not even begun to touch on what Alexa can do. Can't wait to learn more.

Love my Alexa. She sets my alarm; plays my requested music; tells me jokes; helps me meditate; and so much more.

Easy to set up and use. Good volume and pre loaded lists. Seems to have good range and can be used in a large area.

Bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day. We have the philips hue bulbs which this syncs with which is really nice. Love that you can ask it questions, how's the traffic to work etc.

The Echo allows you to pipe music through any room in your house. And you can use it for an alarm clock or radio.

I love the feature it can add events to my g mail calendar. Wish it would sync iPhone calendar. Great and easy to use

i adore my echo...i wake up in morning, get a quick weather, sports scores...and here in florida, i get to listen to my favorite nyc sports radio stations...i use it to access my music...and i recently purchased a audio book for the wife, and i am waiting until i give her that audiobook for xmas; the i can ask alexa to read it to me ! ... i am sure alexa does so much more...(i even asked it to convert to metric for me when i was cooking last week)...i do not have any smart devices in my house, so i havent had the opportunity to have alexa do that for me...but it is so much fun to use...and now, instead if reaching for laptop to google something...i just ask alexa first

I absolutely love my Alexa! The speakers sound as good, if not better than the Bose speakers in my vehicle.
