We purchased and Echo Show from BB and liked it so much we thought it would like a mate in our upstairs so they can chat behind our backs or when we aren't home. We are moving aggressively to a Smarter Home and just added a IRobot Roomba 980. That along with Nest, Hue and Wemo already installed made it more useful to have two Echos. Best Buy is doing a whole Smart House assessment so we can evaluate next steps.

I love Alexa and that lady knows everything. I have even hooked up some more functions to her.

Alexa is great and performs well. Biggest issues are Bing is a horrible search engine and is inevitably wrong vs Google. Many times it doesn't understand the question or gives wrong answers while OK google gives much better repossess. Also Amazon music is somewhat limited. Should allow ability to play Sonos or iTunes libraries.

This is the third Alexa I've purchased...one for two homes and one for work. With Amazon Prime you can listen to music by just saying "Alexa, play '70's rock" it also gives you weather, turns on lights with add ons and gives you anything you'd normally have to get by logging on to a computer. "alexa, what's the score of the Denver broncos?" it tells you. "alexa, how do you prepare chicken marsala?" it tells you. get one!
