Very helpful setting timers while cooking, reminders I know I'll let slide to long and playing music and general entertainment. I like the feature of "whole house" music when they all play as a speaker system together. Sometimes I get a little concerned about what might be kept as data on my activities not involving Alexa though. :)

This is a good product that has great sound and is fun to have around the house. Wish the product worked more with some of the apps on my phone like Napster.

I waited to buy this product, to see what the reviews would have to say over time. They were mostly upbeat, and I am an Amazon Prime member. So, I said, "What the heck," and gave the Echo a shot. I am glad I did. I use it to listen to music and news intermittently throughout the night while sleeping. I enjoy the Sports Update and the Flash Briefing. I also like that I can simply ask to stream most any radio station, and listen to the latest episode of my favorite pod casts. Echo is very responsive to my voice commands. This product is easily worth every penny you spend on it.

I enjoy my new toy, but haven't fully configured it. I am annoyed when I request the Eagles, Alexa says shuffling songs by Eagles, then proceeds to play one of a few playlists. Amazon's arrogant about how smart their users are. It was obviously just a preselected playlist. This happens with several artists. It is deceptive and below the standards I expect for such a nice piece of hardware!
