Bought 2 of these for Christmas for my sons. One of them seems to be a bit better than the other. One works as I would hope it would, the other acts a little hard if hearing (I'm speaking about the Echo, not my sons)! Alexa doesn't always recognize her name and obey commands.

Works great. Connected it to wi fi speakers and lights I think went and got a dot and connected that through a Bluetooth adapter to my old stereo system and that works great as well.

I bought the Amazon Echo as a gift to my niece! Both her and her family love it! It was easily linked to their wi-fi and it was also easily linked to their amazon accounts!! Great gift!

My kids love this. They can come down stairs and tell it to play music while they eat breakfast and wake up

This is my 2nd unit. I liked the first one that my son gifted me so much, I got this second unit for the downstairs. The fact that it was 50% off form BestBuy didn't hurt either.

It began with one, now I have three. I need two more, but I think I will get dots. I want t try hooking it up to my Darth Vader Bluetooth helmet. That's going to be sweet. I wonder if I can rename this from Alexa to Darth? Get this, but realize you'll want many more.

So far I am having fun with the Echo. I have six lights around the house connected with a Hue hub and a Wemo switch that runs the outside lights, they are set up to come on at dusk and go off at dawn. You can ask it just about anything and it usually has an answer.

After using my son's echo. I just had to have one . We now purchased a Dot and a Bluetooth speaker for the wife to use in her bathroom for getting ready each morning and she also just loves it. It can do so many more things than we first thought. Great addition to our home.

Family and I love it. Kids play games with her and the family. Alexa connects to my Vizio TV and I installed a few bluetooth switches that she controls.

I have to remember Alexa is not Google, but she does know a lot and can tell you a joke if you ask her. I use her for timers (working out), alarm clock, and to tell me the weather on a daily bases. The 360 degree speaker sound is a plus as well when I'm streaming Pandora!

We are enjoying Amazon Echo, but have had problems trying to set up my husband and my music to play. My husband had to contact Amazon service department to guide him on setting up, but we still struggled in getting music to play from our cell phones and our computers.

Including this purchase, I now have two Dots and three Echos. My home is more than halfway complete to being Smart. Just a few more Hue bulbs and hello modern day Jetson family

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, after I had bought an Amazon echo dot for myself, and I would recommend this to anyone who is considering to automate your house.

If you enjoy using your Echo Dot, and listening to any music, then you need to upgrade to this so that you have great sound! We continue to find great uses for Alexa.

When compared to Google home, echo is good for connecting smart devices. If you are on amazon ecosystem then this is a great product. I like google home over echo due to the natural english speaking ability and conversation that i can have and get responses back.

Get your weather forecast first thing in the morning, review your to do list, check your appointments for the day all while having your morning coffee. Great way to start your day.

The Echo is a fun new tool to easily interface with the information highway. But there is a learning curve to navigate in order to be able to get the most out of the Echo. Sometimes Echo does not understand your requests. So you have to be able to restate certain requests.

It's still confusing trying to figure out how to use Alexa and the app. To me, Alexa does not answer many questions at all or she does not understand many questions at all but I just need really be able to sit down and play around with the app. Is real funny though.

I returned the item for the Echo Dot, and purchased a separate bluetooth speaker. This provides more flexibility from my perspective. I have 2 Echo Dots and both are excellent,

This Echo is amazing!! I love waking up and not having to use a remote or get out of bed.. she does a lot.. and the names are perfect Alexa or Amazon.. but it's a great speaker loud..
