Worked well at first but now it is turning off randomly and has to be unplugged in order to take commands

The Amazon Echo is an amazing piece of technology. The things it can do are endless and new things are added weekly. Just amazing

My wife spends most of her time playing trivia and jeopardy but I have it configured with a wink hub and its great.

I love the fact that I can have it play all types of music. The Alexa also helps with amazon shopping and current events.

Great item if you would want to control your electronic devices without lifting an arm. Great volume! Great item overall.

Lights, timers, grocery's, Alexa, Echo's voice service does it all and more. Voice recognition is amazing, from across the room, when music is playing it works. Built in speakers are very good (on a Bluetooth speaker level). Setup is easy with the free App. select what "skills" you want to activate to customize Echo to your home, (skills are Alexa's ability's). More and more integration into home automation weekly, Alexa already controls select lights, switches, thermostats, even integration with some cars (start car remotely, how many miles remain before refueling). What could be easier then using voice commands that work and simply asking questions to get information?

I got this echo for my mother for christmas. She likes asking it things. It has a lot to learn though. Goggle seems smarter

Have a few issues. Not sure if its my set up in my home automation. Maybe it's just me. But overall, fantastic job by Amazon.

When connected to SmartThings, Alexa works great. Alexa will hear you from rooms away. The only changes I would make are: 1) Make it portable 2) Better speaker quality 3) Alexa app needs improvement

My wife and I are just now getting the chance to explore the capabilities of this device but we are impressed. I really appreciate the emails every so often informing us of new things we can do with it.

Like talking to a human! Can find an answer for most subjects as long as the internet is available. Fairly accurate also.

I really enjoy Echo. We find we used it much more than expected. We are adding apps for fun and usefulness. Love the product!

Unfortunately we did not purchase one of these to keep for ourselves, we gave both of them away to our children at Christmas!

The Echo is a big part of our home life now. And just getting all the wireless home devices attached, it is a keeper. Buy it.

Wow, Alexa does it all! I can ask for pretty much anything, and I add new skills for her to learn all the time. It works perfect!

I know a lot of the ability of the Amazon Echo is more than I know...if there was a real tutorial available, this would probably be a great product.

Enjoy quick fact checks like who was in this movie or how tall is Lebron James but wouldn't spend the money it costs myself. It was a gift. Maybe I haven't learned enough of the functions yet.

We purchased the Echo to satisfy our curiousity, and for the novelty of having one. It was a great investment.
