Spotty cell coverage

The AUX cord needs to plug into your console so it’s sort of in the way. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth, so if you don’t have unlimited data or spotty coverage, it has some issues. All and all, good product but limited by the cell connection and the AUX cord. Hence the 4 stars.

Great tool to modernise your old car for cheap

I have a 2009 Honda CR-V LX which does not have bluetooth. I use the echo auto to plug into the 3.5mm AUX input. When not being used as alexa, it also works as a Bluetooth dongle. With this added, I can make and receive calls by just asking alexa to do it for me. I really appreciate being able to drive without touching my phone and staying focused on the road. Ocassionally, it looses contact with the alexa app on my phone and asks me to start alexa app. No biggie.

Design could be better

Better luck on the next design. Otherwise it works great as I have it plugged into usb on my car stereo in the back so cords aren’t everywhere.
