I love the convenience of hands-free but it's futile if it doesn't recognize what you're asking it to do. I have linked my streaming accounts and selected my GPS preferences but it still doesn't launch certain apps when requested.

Good purchase.. easy to connect and you can easily control your home when you are driving. I love it.

Better price here than Amazon when on sale.... but the price does fluxuates

I have two of these. One for me and one for my sister. The one in my sister's car works perfectly. Mine on the other hand has not been as happy in my car. Tried for a few days to get it to work, but gave up because didn't have time to mess with it. Now that I have time, will try again and let you know.

If you have Alexa in your home, you'll love having this in your car. I use it all the time to play songs and start directions on my phone. Issues that caused problems when it was first released have mostly been ironed out. I know alot of phones have voice activation too - but I like to leave that OFF on my phone. This makes it possible to use voice in the car while leaving my phone's voice activation turned off. It's great having Alexa in the home and car.

The echo is pretty simple to install. I would recommend if your car don't have bluetooth function.

Got this as a gift for someone. This solved the issue of Bluetooth in this persons car. As of now we have not run into any issues with it. I give it 4 stars only because the setup process was a little long and the product leaves it to you to figure out how to setup the device.

I was hesitant that it would work with my phone and car but sound is amazing, never disconnects from my phone

We are using Music Music Unlimited in the car now... No need for Satallite etc. saving money on that. Also connects into our home account to control lights etc. Very pleased so far. Remember your phone still needs to be powered and connected for everything to work but so far this has been fantastic!!!

If you have an older car, this is a must have. The smarter your car is, the less impressive the features of this device are. However if you are like me, my 2005 Honda now has state of the art entertainment as well as someone to talk to on long drives. Setup was quick and easy. All features of Alexa available including controlling devices, dropping in, music, weather, games, and I’ve even used it to listen to satellite radio.

It is a great product and great in the car. Very good if you like having an Alexa assisstant.

Make sure you have a good cellular plan to use this item in you car because it does require a lot of data to use. It works just like your echo at home if you are a Amazon person. Very convenient device to have for access to your favorite items that enhances your daily life.

We already use Amazon Music on our phones with bluetooth which has Alexa built in for voice-activated music selection but this just extends the entire echo world into the car which brings a new level of functionality. The only thing, just not crazy about the design, wish it was a little sleeker.
