I purchased this for hands-free operation. It only works that way if the apps on your phone are already open and set up to do what you want them to do. Unless I know what I want to do before I start driving, which is not always the case, it does not provide hands free operation. I either pull off to open and set up the app on my phone or do without the service requested from alexa which defeats the purpose of the device.

This small thing combines everything you could possibly need while in your vehicle. It's great for me daughter who does not have all the fancy new features new cars have already built in

Use it in the car like alexa good to stream music talk to friends and family who have alexa as well ask for directions weather traffic conditions.

I love this echo for the car! I can request all my favorite artist or songs when I want. It beats listening to the radio. It does work off of your phone network but I still love it!

This is the greatest gadget ever. I use it all the time, in the car. I have the home version, too. I have programmed the home version with about 50 of my own questions and answers. This is great fun. This is so much more advanced than Apple’s SIRI.

Couldn’t get to work for my car, so returned. Maybe the model doesn’t fit with my car.

Really cool addition to my car setup. I was hesitant but far exceeded my expectations. Even my google home works through it some how from my Samsung phone. So google replies through the amazon echo car. Amazon please don’t change that!!

It works. It doesn't really do anything over what the free alexa app can already do though.

where has this been all my life it makes things in my travels so much fun and very helpful...cant think of a trip without it now

Nifty little gadget. I use this for a Hands Free Calling Device. I just don't like ther cable in the way but I can deal with it.

Loses connection easily. Alexa keeps trying to connect. Not recommend for rural areas.

Great for use with older cars that don't have bluetooth technology. Purchased for my son to stream his music through the radio.

I like this product however I can't seem to figure out how to have it reply to my texts with written words not voice blurbs.

Great companion and assistant for your drive. Still needs to improve on commands when asked to call people for it to recognize better who you are asking to be called though.

Despite a self-induced learning curve, I am happy with this product. My previous home tech is Google-based, so this is a bit of a change for me.

Handy as any Alexa. But also looks cool in the car. Also, it has a small built-in speaker of its own, when you don't feel like messing around getting blu-tooth car-connection enabled to use car speakers.

Love having this Alexa device in my older car. knowing that help can be accessed at any time using my device gives me peace of mind when I'm out and about.

Love it. I no longer have to keep changing channels looking for good music. Also great for directions and weather.

This is wonderful if you have an older vehicle! I love it. I can set reminders for when I reach home and it reminds me as I pull in the driveway.... so helpful. Before I put in a blue tooth stereo I used an aux port
