Echo Auto Connection Issues

I then tried to get this to work in my 2014 Chevy Silverado and after about hour it suddenly started working. I don’t know why it started working but unfortunately I have yet to get this to work a second time. This connection drops and the device goes offline and I am unable to get the sound to go thru vehicle speakers even when it appears as if it is connected. I really liked the idea having an Echo in a vehicle but Amazon needs to take a step back and spend some time correcting the issues with the set up / connection issues.

It also loses connectivity with the phone quite a lot. Not sure if this is just an issue on the android side of things. Have similar issues with the echo buds in terms getting alexa to work.
